When you fall in love with the wrong friend part 1/3

You stared at Jin from your side of the table, not able to take your eyes off of him. He was definitely one hot piece of human meat and most important your best friend and crush. He was talking to Baekhyun who was sitting next to you and didn't seem to notice that you were drooling about him. You snapped awake from your day dream as Baekhyuns fingers appeared in front of your face. "Hello, anybody home?" He asked in a singing voice and you hit his hand away, annoyed that he was hindering your sight.

"What is it?" You growled and he pouted at you. "What's with the mood?" He asked and you teasingly lifted your borws. "Well, if you really wanna know...this girl is on her period. Is that enouh information for you Baekie?" You said innocently and Baekhyun made an ugly face at you, telling you that you shouldn't have told him that. "It's your own fault." You giggled and took a sip from your drink. "Fine, sorry for asking. Next time, keep your feminine problems to yourself will ya?" He said and you just stuck out your tongue at him.

"So, are you still doing something tonight?" You asked, now turning your attention to Jin again, giving him your cute smile. Baekhyun noticed and did his best not to show you how much it hurt him to see you smile like that to Jin. "Uuhm, I don't know yet, why? Got any ideas?" You wiggled your eyebrows and leaned your chin in your hand. "There's this movie on tonight and I want to watch it, but alone that would be boring. Would you mind to come over?" He thought about your suggestion and eveltually nodded, grinning at you. "Fine, let's do that, seems fun." You threw your arms up into the air, happy that he said yes. "Yeey! Then I'll see you tonight, I'll be leaving now." You stood up and as usually you pecked both of your friends on the cheek before heading out of the cafe.

Baekhyun and Jin stayed behind, looking after you as you walked out of the door. Baekhyun followed your back until you were completely out of sight while Jin was already busy with his phone again. He sighed and drunk from his drink until it was completely empty. He envied Jin so much, having such a wonderful girl liking him. But he just wasn't quiet sure or Jin felt the same way as you or if he was just playing around and trying to be nice. Jin never talked about you if they were alone and he never showed a glance of interest. But if there was one thing that Baekhyun knew it was that you were unbelievably in love with him, just as he was unbelievably in love with you.

Everything was prepared, the popcorn, the drinks and the couch. You were surely going to turn this evening into an unforgettable one because tonight you were going to confess to him. You didn't want to hide your feelings from him anymore and you wanted him to know the truth. After all he wouldn't have said yes to your date if he didn't like you back right? So after getting some advice from your only female best friend Tiffany you were sure you were going to have a boyfriend tonight, you just didn't have to forget to breath.

The bell rung and you almost dropped your phone because now was the moment. With a hard beating heart you skipped to the door and swung it wide open, greeting Jin with a big smile. "Hey Jinnie." You said happily and he shot you a heart melting smile. "Hey there." He gave you a wink before walking inside of your apartment and you were sure that if he would do that once more that you would pass out. You followed him inside and saw how he made himself comfortable on the couch. "Now, let's watch this movie." He said and you took in your place beside him.

The evening proceeded just as planned as the two of you watched the movie. You were sitting on the couch, knees popped up and your side against Jin's. His arm was resting over the back of the couch where your shoulders were and you felt like you were in heaven. The movie came to an end and Jin was starting to get ready to go back home. 'Do it now! This is your chance!" Your brain screamed at you and you gulped while moving closer to him. "Jin, wait, I still have to tell you something." You said as he walked out the door into the night. You ran behind him and stopped in front of him, suddenly feeling nervous.

"What is it?" He asked and gave you a playful smirk. "I...I like you...a lot." You confessed and you saw how his eyes looked at you a little shocked. "I know it sounds weird, but I have a crush on you. I don't longer want to be your best friend." You rattled and looked at his face while you spoke. "So, will you accept me?" You asked with a high pitched voice, not sure about what to think. "S-sure..." He stuttered and you shrieked in happiness. He smiled a little as you hugged him by the waist and laid his arms around you. "Thank you..." You whispered and he nodded, eyes fixed on the ground and mouth formed into a straight line.
