When he becomes blind part 2/4

Your eyes were looking straight ahead and a playful smile was on your face. You giggled as Baekhyun squeezed your hand to gain some attention from you. "Jagi, not so fast." He wailed, trying to follow your pace. "You're such a snail Hyunie." He pouted his lips and pretended like he was hurt by your remark. You laughed and turned your head to look at him. His eyes were not pointing on you, but after a year you got used to that. In the beginning it had been weird that he didn't look at you while talking, but now it was nothing more than normal. Baekhyun being blind was now one of the things you accepted and you still loved him just as much as you did before. Baekhyun was also starting to be able to do more and more things by himself and needed your help less every day. Only for walks he always wanted you to go with him because he refused to use his stick.

You didn't mind though, you loved walking with him and showing him some new places. The best thing to see was that slowly, because you had done it, he also began to accept himself like he was. You stepped in front of him when the traffic light jumped on red for the pedestrians so Baekhyun walked into your back, what let him know that he had to stop. You guys both invented some stupid tricks which helped you to let him know some things, and this was one of them. You eyed the traffic light and waited a little impatient until it would get green. "Why are you in such a hurry?" Baekhyun asked and wrapped his arms around you from behind. He always felt those kind of things, when you were angry or sad, he didn't had to see it anymore, he just knew it. "Because I hate waiting." You muttered and he chuckled. He pressed a small kiss on your temple and you snuggled yourself closer to him. Some people were throwing you some jealous looks and you couldn't help but smile satisfied.

It was a sunny day, it was hot and the air was cloudless and blue. It only made you feel even happier and as soon as you heard the peep you grabbed Baekhyun's hand again and crossed the street. You noticed that some people looked at you a little compassionate, probably thinking that you stayed with your blind boyfriend because you pitied him. You hated it when people gave you those stares, since they were totally wrong. Sometimes you wanted to tell them what you thought of it but you knew you couldn't. You swung your intertwined hands from back to front as you entered the park. It was very calm today, although it was sunny. Nomally when the weather was this nice there would be hundreds of people here. You both walked to a little bench and sat down. Baekhyun sighed in content, and leaned his back against the back of it.

"What do you think of my outfit today?" You asked and jumped in front of him with a big grin on your face. Baekhyun smiled, he liked it when you acted like nothing was wrong and he was a normal person. "Let me see..." His put his hands on your waist and followed the curves of your body. "A skirt and a top? What colour?" You smiled and quickly gave him the information. "White blouse, pink skirt." You said and nestled yourself on his lap. "I like that, pink suits you, it suits your eyes perfectly." Since he became blind his joking period was over. He still smiled a lot but he became much more of an adult since this whole befall. Sometimes you found that really sad, you missed your old, childish boyfriend.

"Thanks baby." His hands rested on your thights and his head against your shoulder. If you could you would stay like this forever. Your hand combed through his hair and laid it backwards a little, you liked it when he wore his hair like that. "You're doing that again?" He laughed and shook his head so his hair covered his forhead again and fell in front of his eyes. "But I love it like that, it suits your eyes perfectly." He gave you a sad smile and he sighed. "I wish that I could see it myself." This was one of those moments when he turned a little down. He still missed seeing things, he knew what it was like to see, so he missed it. It was so dark and he missed looking at your twinkling eyes and your sweet smile. "They'll find a donor baby, you just need to have some patience." You said and pecked his lips. "Well, well, who sais that?" He moved his eyebrows playfully and you laughed.

The way back home was as pleasant as always. You joked around a little and sometimes Baekhyun would react and made a little joke himself. You loved this moments, where he looked like the old him. Happy and fearless, the guy you fell in love with. When you got into your apartment you flopped yourself on the couch, tired from your active way to end the day. Baekhyun wanted to come and sit next to you but stopped when his phone rang. "Hello?" You leaned back and played with the pillow until he was ready. "Okay, thank you so much! Bye." You eyed him and saw his expression was extremely happy. "What happened?" "That was the doctor, they found a donor!" He squealed and you didn't even realise that you started screaming. "Oh my god!" You yelled and threw yourself into his arms. He lifted your feet off the ground and turned you around in the air. "I'm going to be able to see again." He grinned and you smiled with him.
