~Day Before the Trial~

Jenny's POV:

Evan had been avoiding me for the past couple of days. Ever since me and Tyler had came home. I tried to talk to him but he just kept making an excuse to do something else. I don't know why he's doing this. I just wanted to spend time with him.

Did I hurt him in any way? If I did than I feel awful. What did I do wrong? God I fuck up every time. I mean I had a crush on him even though we would never be together. God I'm just a mess up that was supposed to happen.

Why do I have to be in love with someone who probably just sees me as his best friend? Revealing my secret probably made him feel disgusted with me. And yet he showed me he cared three weeks ago when he stopped my panic attack.

Fuck, a soft thud I heard as I punched my fist to the wall. He's more confusing than a girl on her period. Just fuck me..... I sit down my back to the door as I pull my knees to my chest. I let a few tears fall down my face as I let out a quiet sob.

Evan's POV:

Ignoring Delirious for the past few days because I don't want to deal with the sadness. Of course hanging out with Tyler would make her fall in love with him. I mean just fuck, I should have asked her. But no I was afraid she would turn me down.

But now I know for sure she would as that happy look on her face as she was holding hands with Tyler. Even Mini noticed something going on as Tyler had a blush on his face. But I felt that was just him being embarrassed. I could be overreacting over everything.

It was the day before the trial and Jenny hadn't stepped out of her room. I'm worried but she could be very nervous on the trial tomorrow. I sit down in the kitchen eating a bowl of cereal as Luke came over to me.

"What did you do to Delirious," he asked angrily and I raised an eyebrow.

"I've done nothing but let her keep her space with Tyler," I mumbled.

"Are you really that dense to believe that she likes Tyler more than you," he said making me look away.

"Well what did you see when she was holding hands with Tyler," I said making him roll his eyes.

"From what she told me she saw Tyler as an older brother because of the thing they did you prick," Luke said and I felt a pang in my heart.

"She doesn't like Tyler that way," I mumbled making Luke sigh.

"Yeah she's head over heals for you ever since you guys first met," he said making me groan.

"I fucked up didn't I," I groaned and he nods.

"Well you can tell her how you feel she's been her room all day and she won't open the door for anyone," he said looking up stairs.

I get up and put my plate in the sink. I walk up the stairs nervous about asking her out. I mean Luke could have just been lying to me about her feelings just to make her feel better but I have to take the chance. I reached her door. And I turned the knob.

It was locked so I knock on the door. I heard a quiet whose there making my heart break at how quiet she sounds.

"It's me Evan can we talk," I said and I heard the door unlock.

She didn't open the door so I turned the door knob. My heart broke a bit at how sad she looks. She was sitting on her bed holding her knees to her chest. She looked at me and I could tell she was crying by the redness in her eyes. I sat next to her and she scooted a bit away from me.
