Hi! I was bored, so I decided "Why not?" and thought that updating would be a great idea! If you read my last chapter, and you're reading the title of this chapter, you might be wondering how Percy escapes. And- I really don't know! I'm making this up as I go along! But there might be about two or three parts.

Something inside Percy told him that an entire day had passed as he woke up. He curled into a tighter ball, ignoring the chains and cage, groaning as he went through a world of pain. The small chain of his handcuffs went around a bar of the cage. He hissed through his teeth, wincing as he remembered what had happened the day before. Kronos had done lots of things to him, but straight out kicking him? That was a new one. And a painful one. Percy frowned when he saw shallow claw marks on the Celestial bronze cage- he remembered this cage. Every time Kronos felt he was unusually confident, or more resistant, the time lord would put Percy in this cage. Right now the demigod was chained with the power-draining chains he fell with into Tarturas (That's how you spell it, right?) So Percy had some experience with the cage. The half-blood twisted in his chains uncomfortably, stressed out a little. The betrayed hero paused when he saw the dent in the metal wall. "Ow," Percy muttered.

The demigod gave his handcuffs an experimental tug, and almost immediately gave a painful yelp. The K that had been carved into his wrist had burned. It was then that the half-blood realized that the K was possibly cursed by Kronos and would obviously cause Percy trouble and pain. Speaking of Kronos..... was Percy going insane, or did he sense remorse from Kronos as he lost consciousness? His sea-green eyes widened- he was obviously going insane. The last kick must have damaged my brain. Percy decided- it was easier to believe that instead of Kronos feeling remorse. The tortured hero winced as he realized that the kicks he had been given were a lot more effective then the other torture methods- he had to escape before Kronos realized this.

Kronos' POV (Ha! Didn't expect that, did you?)

I felt my wrist burn slightly. That demigod was trying to escape! I paused, expecting myself to drop the dull weapons I was dragging and to find myself racing back to the dungeons to punish the hero, but was surprised to feel a wave of remorse wash over me. I shook my head, deciding that I'll give the demigod a month to escape. After that? He would never get another chance to escape. Then I realized something- the kicks I had delivered to the half-blood were more effective than other weapons. Again I expected myself to run back to that dungeon to do something horrible to the sea-green eyed demigod, but instead I felt a wave of remorse, pity, and guilt. I guess that the half-blood grew on me during the years.

I couldn't help but flinched when I remembered all the things I've done to him- not him, but Percy. I promised myself that I'd be less ruthless and merciless to the boy even if he didn't escape. But I would still sharpen my weapons, including Backbiter!
