    Spike's POV

The duel was really interesting. But Jack made me - uneasy. I didn't like him. I didn't like how he had somehow managed to get a poisoned dagger. The poison he got should no longer exist. I destroyed all the ingredients and sources, I got rid of every trace of that poison. So how did Jack get the poison? Of course, he could be back. No. That can't be an option. But back to the present- I didn't let my uneasiness show. I plastered a goofy, carefree grin on my face as I bounded away from the arena. I found a small empty space a small space away from the Chaos Cabin, and felt a real grin form on my face. Chaos might not be happy, but who cares what he thinks? Ha! Not me! I took a deep breath, when I smelled Annabeth Chase behind me. I paused and turned around, and I grinned at her before closing the distance in a single step, practically an inch from her face. I laid down, my fluffy tail wrapping around me. "What's up?" I purred casually.

Annabeth blinked once, in surprise, and narrowed her stony gray eyes. I narrowed my eyes back at her before chuckling. "What did you mean when you told Chaos to respect his elders?" She asked suspiciously. I grinned- I loved teasing Chaos about how I was older than him. "Well?" Annabeth's voice brought me back to the present. "I meant that I'm older than him, so he needs to respect me!" I laughed. The Athena spawn looked really surprised. I sniffed her in a curious way. "Are you sure that you're a daughter of Athena?" I asked her. The blonde suddenly looked furious. "Of course I am a daughter of Athena!" She snapped, her grey eyes icy cold. I reared and put my front paws in the air in a sign of surrender before dropping back to the ground with a grin. "You know, I would like it if you left me alone. I'm trying to do something here." I yawned. Annabitch looked like she'd been slapped. Well, serves her right! I tried to give her a hint when I asked her if she was sure she was a daughter of Athena! I thought that she would be so insulted that she'd leave me alone.

"Well, fine! Stupid mutt!" She practically screamed at me. She stomped away, fists clenched. Hmm. So rude. I shook my furry head. Where was I? Oh, yeah. Teleporting my home here. Right. I took in a deep breath and let out a deep growl before opening my jaws really wide. I coughed out a single spark, which formed a single flame. It burned a space barely big enough for the beginning of my stairs before sputtering and dying. I breathed in deeply, my eyes closed, and when I opened my eyes, I opened my jaws and breathed fire. I leaned back and breathed fire high in the air. I narrowed my eyes and let out one last burst of fire that blazed brighter than normal fire. The fire formed a swirling portal in the sky, and that coughed out my mountain. The flames flashed out after that, and my mountain floated above me, and the stairs came down, landing right where I burned the ground. My stone guards came to life, green eyes glowing as they appeared and then nodded at me.

I barely glanced at the Athena spawn- she was obviously trying to spy on me- as I growled: "Don't even try going in. By the way, you should close your mouth or else you'll catch flies." My guards stepped aside and let me bound up my marble and gold stairs, with gems studding it- I like to think of myself as rich and awesome. I leaped off the stairs onto the bright green grass of my mountain. I even had a lake and a few rivers and a couple of small ponds, which herds of deer, families of rabbits, and thousands of plants used to survive. I was never hungry. I casually slammed my paws on the back of a rabbit, which I tossed into my mouth. I always love a snack. I chewed happily and stepped into my mountain, which I had dug and clawed tunnels into. I smiled as I walked through the well decorated tunnels, which told the story of my life on the walls. Memories, both sweet and painful. I skipped to the very top tunnels up at the top of the mountain- the armory and my forge.

I walked into the forge I had made and grabbed a lot of armor and practice weapons and shields for the demigods- after I had found my favorite armor for practicing. I casually slid my claws into the hollow metal of the metal claws I had made to protect my claws. I made sure that I didn't look like a "stupid mutt" before gripping the armor, weapons, and shields in my paws as I spread my blood-red dragon wings and clumsily flapped off the mountain. I walked back into the arena, getting everything ready for the intense training session I had planned. I made sure that my simple practice armor was properly on, that my paws and tail were well protected. I smiled- hopefully these campers are ready for the living hell that was their training. I'll check the Ares Cabin to see how good they are- hopefully they'll be the best. I bounded out of the arena, right in front of Clarisse. "Hey! Clarisse La Rue! We need to talk." I growled in a serious tone.
