When I woke up, I showered so that no one would notice the dried tear tracks on my face. I put on my black mask that had swirls of gold in it and my black hooded cloak. I took a deep breath and put on my emotionless mask that hid what I truly was- a broken demigod that struggled with depression. I made sure that I remained emotionless as I gathered my team for the mission. I remembered what Spike had told me. He was right- I just had to get the job done as soon as possible. I threw open the door to the Meeting Room. "You're late." Luke said. "I'm fashionably  late." I corrected. Surprised muffled laughter filled the room. Hmm... Have I been too cold? "Let's hurry up and get this over with." I growled after a long, awkward moment. The team saluted me and then we turned to Chaos expectantly. A minute of complete silence finally got his attention. "Yes?" Chaos asked innocently. I cleared my throat and pretended to cough. "*Cough* portal *cough*." I hinted him. Chaos was silent for a moment before he understood. "Oh! Why didn't you just say so?" I rolled my eyes and waited. Chaos huffed before waving his hand and a portal appeared. I walked into it, and I was taken to the last place I wanted to go: the throne room.

The gods were arguing as me and my team hid in the shadows, waiting for them to stop. When five long, boring minutes passed, I decided that if we waited like this, we would be here for centuries. So I cleared my throat and stalked out of the shadows, my team following loyally. I made myself seem bored and unconcerned as I lazily explained why we were here. Athena was watching me suspiciously, maybe even hopefully. The drama queen himself requested that we protect Camp Half-Blood. I barely stopped myself from saying something that I might regret- something that would reveal my identity. I just narrowed my eyes and made a mocking bow. But inside I was furious and heart-broken. I forced myself to make a portal to Camp Half-Hell. I stalked through it first, right outside the border. I leaned lazily against Thalia's tree, glaring down at the Camp below. I could feel my team's curious stares burning into me. Suddenly, somebody made the signal of being attacked. I glanced around curiously before realizing that they thought we were attacking.

I rolled my eyes as the campers charged. I took in a deep, sharp breath when I spotted who was leading the advancing demigods- the very same daughter of Athena that had shattered my heart. I forced myself to believe what Spike had told me- that it was going to be okay. Then the Roman demigods shot flaming arrows at us. Wow. I feel so loved with this welcoming party. Just when the arrows were about to find their target, a soft purple glow surrounded them. The campers paused when the arrows stopped moving. I shook my head and called out: "I knew that you would follow us, Lone Wolf!" The arrows moved, forming the words: I have no idea what you mean. *cue innocent face* I couldn't stop myself from making an amused chuckle. Maybe I would be okay- maybe everything was alright. After all, everything was alright with Spike.
