Percy had saved 20 more demigods, some abused, some like him: ones that had no idea about the Greek world before. And every time they asked him who he was, he told them that he was Nobody. And every time he acted like nothing was wrong, and every time he hid all the pain and heart break, holding back the tears. He hid from the curious campers, who were now heavily patrolling the border, hoping to find the mysterious demigod who saved so many demigods, more than the satyrs could save. Some had theories, but decided that it was impossible that the betrayed hero would never do that. As he was saving another demigoddess, Sarah, she noticed that her protector seemed uneasy today. Percy had a bad feeling deep in his gut, but it had nothing to do with Sarah or the campers. He sensed.... danger. It grew as he sent Sarah through the borders. It was almost unbearable for him to walk back through the woods- that was where the feeling grew.

As Percy waved to the blonde demigoddess, Sarah gave him one last look with her piercing, ice-blue eyes before jogging easily through the borders, he dreaded the return journey. He just shook the feeling off, but he still uncapped Riptide, looking uneasy. His wary, broken sea-green eyes scanned the area with fear and caution. Then a warm, heavy breeze- wait, that wasn't a breeze! It was the breath of something big- was it the Nemean Lion?! The demigod warily rubbed his clay beads, and as he turned towards the "breeze". But before he completed the turn, a sleepy growl snarled softly at him. Percy narrowed his sea-green eyes and raised his glowing bronze sword. Then a extremely sharp claw that reminded him of ivory grazed his cheek as the beast leaped at him. Percy screamed, it felt like lava! His sea-green eyes widened, meeting the surprised gaze of the beast's yellow eyes. The claw mark on his cheek burned so intensely that Percy almost dropped his sword.

Almost. Percy slashed at the beast that obviously was NOT the Lion- it was an enormous wolf. He only managed to slash off a clump of it's beautiful brownish fur, which caused the surprised wolf to sink it's fangs deep into the demigod's right shoulder. The deep wound that was getting deeper, and it burned worse than the the wound caused by the claw that barely grazed him. The pain was so intense, his vision dimming, his shoulder breaking, that the demigod was sure that this was what death felt like. Percy felt himself collapsing against his will, his sword sliding out of his limp hand. He tried to force himself to grab the sword, to slash the surprised beast in front of him. As his vision dimmed, a scream ripped from his throat and shattered the air. Percy was sure that the scream was heard all the way to Camp Half-Blood. Percy gasped, feeling the beast pin him down after Percy couldn't even manage to stay on his knees, where he had collapsed.

"Sorry!" Percy thought he heard the slightly horrified beast mutter. Percy briefly wondered if this beast actually felt remorse. Then the half-blood dimly realized that his shoulder broke. That was the last thought he had before all he could see was darkness.

Sarah's P.O.V. (Ha! Weren't expecting that! This is when she reaches Camp)

"Nobody" was sorta cute- I have a small crush on him. But when we reached Camp, he seemed... uneasy. When I turned to give him one last look, I knew that I would miss his black, ruffled hair and broken sea-green eyes. Anyways, after I had explained "Nobody"'s description, and the campers turned away to talk, a surprised scream of pain ripped through the air. My icy blue eyes widened when I realized there was only one person in the woods- the one who had saved me. Ignoring the campers, I shoved them out of my way as I raced towards the woods, the entire camp following me by now. Just as I reached past the edge of the woods, a more, fatal, final scream ripped through the air. I stopped so suddenly, that some one ran into me. "Watch it!" Jack snapped at me, the one who had ran into me. Remembering what the cute guy who was most likely dead now had said, I snapped at that jackass.

"YOU watch it!" I told him savagely, before turning around and running towards where I had heard the last scream. I heard Annabitch (my nickname for her, I heard about what she had done to a guy who truly loved her) following me. Probably angry with the tone I had used with her snotty boyfriend. Please! Anyways, I reached a clearing. Blood. That was all I saw. The bronze sword my crush used. HIS blood. The necklace he had worn on the ground. "Listen, you-" The stupid blonde dating Jack began to snap, pulling her fist back as if she had been planning on beating me up. She hadn't seen the blood filled clearing. "NO!" I screamed, horrified by what I had seen. I lunged at her, and everything I saw was shaded in red. I hated her. Every punch I delivered gave me a feeling of satisfaction. When someone finally pulled me off that sorry excuse of a daughter of Athena, she was out cold.

Sam, the first one who "Nobody" had saved, recognized his belongings, covered in blood. HIS blood. "No, he can't be....." He whispered, collapsing. A goth boy named Nico studied the bronze sword my crush always used. "It's Riptide! It's Percy's sword!" Nico yelled, his black eyes looking horrified. "THAT wimp?!" Jack sneered, walking forward. But just as that idiot's fingers touched my crush's sword, it disappeared. "Definitely Percy's sword." An Ares camper growled. "What? That's the guy who saved me- that's his sword!" Sam snapped. He had obviously heard stories about the "traitor". "And he's dead now. No one will ever no the truth." Sarah whispered coldly, furious of what they thought about the broken hero. She turned and stalked away.
