Percy and the hellhound had managed to run 200 miles that day. But the next day, it didn't run. Percy had to drag it along for 5 miles before it started walking with him another 5 miles, and then trotted to a nearby cave, snoring instantly when it laid down. The demigod scratched his head, unsure of what to do. Deciding that it was holding him back, he took the chains off it and walked out. He walked by himself for 30 miles, and barely managed to drag himself in a cave. After sleeping for 6 hours, he got up and walked toward the edge of Tarturas, looking for random hellhounds. When he spotted one the size of a mansion, he stalked it carefully. When he was close enough, he raced up it's tail and ran across it's back before putting the chains around it's jaws. It barely noticed him- it was walking to the edge of Tarturas to go back into the world- not down here.
So the demigod settled down into it's surprisingly soft fur, and wrapped the chains around his hand so he wouldn't fall off. He curled into the fur and fell asleep.

Percy woke up as the hellhound began to claw the wall of the Pit, about to climb it. The half-blood's eyes widened, he tightly grabbed the chains as the hellhound leaped onto the wall and began to claw it's way back. Percy hung by his arms as the hellhound climbed.
5 days later............................................
Percy flung himself off the hellhound as it managed to finally claw it's way back up, and raced towards the River Styx, leaping onto Charon's boat as it was leaving his side of the Underworld and leaping off again when it reached the other side. He ran from the shop where it was hidden, and ran out of the city and reached the woods. Panting, he stiffened when a silver arrow narrowly missed his head. "Get him!" A voice commanded. The demigod remembered what he was framed for- of course he wasn't safe around other demigods! Percy turned and raced out of the woods, the entire Hunt chasing him, and ran towards where he knew Alaska was. No demigod dared to enter the land beyond the reach of gods- so it was perfect for him.
The Hunters seemed to realize where he was heading, because half of them ran ahead to cut him off, always shooting arrows, and sneering at him. "Out of my way!" He snapped, uncapping Riptide and slashing a Hunter. His eyes widened when he realized that it was Thalia. "But-but I'm your cousin, Percy!" She gasped, hand flying towards the wound, wincing. "I have no cousin." Percy muttered, barely loud enough for them to hear. They gasped and stared at him as he retreated, and ran off to the city, his destination unknown.
................................................................................................................................
Percy hid in the woods near Camp Half-Blood, stunned by what he did and said. If Thalia died from the deep wound he had given her, he would never forgive himself. Never. Unless........ What if he saved demigods and brought them here? It would help to give himself a purpose and to save lives. He grinned before running into the city.
DemigodInTraining, you owe me a chapter! So, what would you suggest for the next chapter? Because I'm getting closer to the part when Percy got bitten. Anyways, I'm open to criticism and suggestions. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The disclaimer! I'm not Rick or Rowling, so don't sue me. Later!
