3rd Person
Omega grumpily limped through the camp, towards the Chaos Cabin. He paused when he saw Spike's mountain, and a ghost of a smile flashed across his face. Everyone felt it (his smile): Something like the sun coming out after years of clouds and rain. "Hey! Spike!" Omega called out, glancing at the mountain. The wolf immediately appeared beside his fellow Commander. "OMEGA!" Spike purred, acting as if he hadn't seen the limping Commander in years. "I got your message." The Commander whispered to the half wolf. A grin flashed across the wolf's now serious face- it was time for training.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Spike's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I grinned, then winked at Big O. As one, we stealthily crept into the Chaos Cabin, signaling to our team to follow us. This was going to be fun. All of us had our cloaks on, and we blended into the shadows, carefully herding the campers into the arena. They didn't seem to know why they were suddenly walking towards the arena, but they gave the shadows suspicious looks and seemed to think that the arena was the safest place. I smiled evilly: This was easier than I thought. Once all the campers were in the arena, we slid in menacingly, closing the doors and blocking the exits. They glanced at us nervously, probably thinking that we were going to kill them. I stalked forward, smiling evilly as I snarled: "Time for training." Then I spun towards Omega, who was walking like he was never stabbed in the back, both literally and figuratively.
I unsheathed my claws while he unsheathed Nightmare, and we circled each other. I glared into his sea green eyes, and he glared just as fiercely back. I growled, baring my fangs, tensing my muscles, and leaped. Omega slashed at me with his sword, managing to give me a painful whack on the head that made me yelp and miss my chance to slash at him. I managed to hit him with my tail as I fell. Omega winced before whacking me on the head again, unpredictable. I slashed at him, expecting him to dodge, but he just leaped onto my claws and whacked my nose. Why the nose?! I gritted my teeth and darted behind him, swiping at his feet. He quickly rolled, sword pointed at my throat. I growled again, studying him. Omega leaped to his feet and I slashed at him, my claws colliding almost painfully with his sword. Duck. Dodge. Slash. Swipe. I hissed when he brutally stomped on my fluffy tail, and he winced when I brutally, mercilessly flung him at the wall so hard that it cracked. His head also hit the wall hard, and he staggered to his feet before charging me. I blinked- the blow I gave him should have knocked him out or at least dazed him!
He collided with me, and we both fell to the ground, wrestling and trying to get the upper hand. Just as he was about to slit my throat, I kicked him in the stomach and he hit the wall again. But he still managed to slash me: A sorta deep slash in the stomach. I winced and hauled myself to my paws. I growled and charged at the semi-dazed demigod who had slashed me. He gave a wolfish growl and managed to hurl me at the wall so hard that the entire arena shook, and my head collided painfully with the wall, cracking it. I clutched my skull and groaned, but shook it off and landed on all four paws and charged. We fought like our life depended on it, and at last the battle was over: Omega's sword was pressing into my throat, and my claws was against his throat. We were evenly matched. We both staggered to our feet and grinned at each other, ignoring the scratches and painful bruises that we had received in the battle. The campers gazed at us in shock.
"That was a demonstration- you have to be unpredictable and be able recover quickly. Also, try to ignore nonthreatening slashes and wounds- you have to be able to endure a lot of pain. Expect the unexpected, and show no mercy." I growled, my words echoing in the eerie silence. "That was a demonstration?!" Annabeth hissed, her stupid stony gray eyes wide in astonishment. "Obviously." I replied, tilting my head and narrowing my deep, golden eyes at her- wasn't it already obvious? My savior, Clarisse, rolled her eyes and glared at the Athena spawn as if she was the stupidest demigod and just got in the way. "If you actually knew how to fight, you would know that if it wasn't a demonstration, since both are too proud to yield, one or both would be dead." Clarisse growled in a tone that made the blonde look insulted. "I'm not stupid!" Annabeth hollered rudely. "You could've fooled me." Omega, Clarisse, and I said flatly. We looked at each other in surprise- but that was pretty awesome.
Omega then yawned, stretching, and you could feel his evil smirk: It made all the campers shiver involuntary. "Now it's time to train." At once did all the campers (except Clarisse) scream and run for the doors. I slid in front of the main doors, blocking the terrified crowd, and gave them a sly smirk, baring my fangs. My long fluffy tail swatted Annabeth off when she stupidly tried to climb over me, sending the pathetic screaming demigod flying. I snorted, and when the idiot named Jack charged me, I slammed one of my paws on him, stopping him in his tracks with a painful crack. "Hmm. Not quite fast enough. Not my fault." I yawned, showing my long sharp fangs and taking my paw off of a slightly squished, annoying demigod. Oops. Definitely not my fault. Don't care though. "I'm guessing that since all of you are running away, you are probably really out of shape." I observed, studying all the terrified half-bloods with amusement.
When they all nodded in relief when they saw my false (they don't know) sympathy, I smiled evilly and flexed my claws almost threateningly. "Guess what? I don't care. But don't worry- all of you will be in shape when we're done with you." I purred evilly, and the slightly forced open doors all slammed shut at the same time, leaving the arena in almost complete darkness. I gave them my famous evil grin- the one that could make someone die from fear. I think a few campers fainted. "It's time to train." I said in a low growl. Half the campers fainted as I continued to smile evilly. This was going to be fun.
Random camper's POV
I felt like something was watching me, and for some reason I thought that the arena would be safe. When the entire camp was there, I realized it was a trap. I spun around and my eyes widened in horror- the Chaotic Warriors were blocking the exits! THEY WERE GOING TO KILL US ALL!!!!!!! Then the Commanders strolled in, and my heart was beating so fast that I almost fainted as I waited for them to give the order to end our lives. I swear I almost had a heart attack when the wolf finally growled "Time for training" after what seemed like years. "Training" was probably some sort of obstacle in which they would KILL US ALL!!!!! But then the wolf Commander spun towards Omega and unsheathed- UNSHEATHED HIS CLAWS. LIKE A CAT. The other Commander unsheathed a sword, and they circled each other. The wolf- Spike- attacked first.
As they fought, I was mildly surprised that the arena didn't break already. Spike look hurt and annoyed when his tail was stomped on, but I almost winced when Spike sent Omega flying- into the wall. I think the wolf was surprised when Omega staggered to his feet, but he didn't show it. I was even more surprised when they said it was DEMONSTRATION. THAT WAS NOT A DEMONSTRATION. THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY A FIGHT TO THE DEATH!!!!!!!!! But I practically fainted when the wolf gave us a creepy evil smile that almost made me pee my pants. Then when Spike said it was time to train, I swayed as blackness seemed to swallow me. I fainted.
