After the campfire and prophecy, I got up. I mm'ed my teammates: It's time. Although it was just two words, they all visibly gulped, except for Faith and Esperanza. Faith looked curious and a bit surprised. Must've forgotten to tell her about that.... Esperanza looked only mildly interested, before settling into her usual state: laid back, faking disinterest, but a strange gleam in her eyes, as if wondering if she could use anything as blackmail or deciding whether or not they were a threat or not. Also, for some reason she held a mechanical pencil, as if if anyone scared her or disrespected her she would stab them with it.... And I wouldn't put it pass her.
I quickly shook myself out of my thoughts, and nodded to the campers, almost instantly getting their attention. "I guess we should reveal ourselves now. Every. Last. Soldier." I said slowly, my voice calm and quiet, yet it cut through the silence like a knife. Excited whispers and glances met my words. Then the Olympians flashed in, as if they had been stalking us and waiting for us to reveal ourselves. Stalking creeps... Spike's message was like a muttering whisper, and those two words made my lips twitch into an amused smirk. Well, here we go.
