Someone once asked me if I had any story/memory that reminded me of feminism. I do c:

So afterschool, before my mom let me stay home alone, I had to go to like this afterschool center thing. A few friends of mine went too.
I remember a male friend of mine asking if I wanted to play MarioKart with him. I accept, and grab the controller.
Then a little girl popped up from behind us, just as we were about to choose characters, and said something like "Girls can't play video games. Only boys." Which earned a questioning look from the male friend (yes I have a feminist male friend, YOU GO MALE FRIEND!) and then I asked the little girl who told her this. "Mommy" she replied. I then informed her that girls can do anything that boys can, with a nod of approval from the male friend. I proceeded to win with Princess Peach.
