A/N: I've decided to release two chapters a week for a few weeks. Every Monday and Friday. Enjoy! Story can also be found on Quotev.com (Deksidoo).

I first became aware of small bits of pain going in and out through my whole body, like a radio going in and out of signal. There were some strikes that were mild, other that made me want to yell. But I didn't. I just wanted to go back to sleep, make the pain go away.

I'm not sure how long I kept up the act that I could actually get more rest, it seemed like an hour or so. Maybe less. I finally gave in and opened my eyes. It was barely pitch black and cold, but I felt a spot of warmth under me. I sat up ever so slowly, earning a grunt from the warm spot.

"(Y/N)?" I heard Cry mumble and I realize I've been laying on his chest. I give a groan in response as I continue the painful task of sitting up. That's when Cry sets his hands on my shoulders and pushes me up in one swift movement.

"Where are we?" I ask, voice groggy with sleep.

Cry stretches, throwing his hands in the air, "Someone in the woods about a mile away from the city. We were ganna keep walking, but it got too dark."

I gave him a look, "I've been asleep the whole time? I'm so sorry."

He shook his head and returned his hands to my shoulders, "Don't be, (Y/N). We all took turns carrying you. It's what you would do for any of us."

I looked to the ground, "All I've ever done is get hurt and you guys take care of me."

Cry smiles, "So what? I get hurt all the time, too" I shrug and he continues, "Remember everyone's had their fair share of bad moments."

"I guess so." I trail off and look back up at him. He's smiled down at me and his grip on my shoulders tighten.

I flinch back as he hits a cut and his smile disappears, "I'm sorry!"

I wipe the grimace off my face and smile, "It's cool."

He gives me a sympathetic look and lays back down, patting his chest. I follow his command and set my head down to its original position. We stare at the sky for a while before Cry spoke.

"When we get to the city, were going to find shelter as soon as possible. Probably in an apartment building on the outskirts." He informs.

"Will we all be able to fit into one apartment?" I ask him.

"Probably not. We'll just split into our groups and all stay on the same floor at least. After we stock pile everything we can get our hands on, we head out and try to find a more permanent place." Cry's chest rumbles as he speaks.

"Like the Cabin?"

He waits a moment before saying, "Like the cabin."

It was quite again. We were speaking in hushed tones considering the other members were getting their well-deserved sleep. My eyes caught the sun beginning to peak over the horizon, making the sky lighter.

"No use trying to sleep when we have to get up in five minutes anyways." Cry mumbled and started to sit up. I followed suit and let out a breath. A mile of walking seemed like the worst thing in the world to me right now. I've been laying down for the past twelve hours, yet every part of my hurt and ached. What would walking do to me?

I shivered at the thought and stood up, letting out a sound of distress before I could stop myself. Every jumped up and immediately went for their weapons.
