6. Cold

The following week passes quickly, Barry fighting off a meta who can turn into a poisonous gas and scaring Tori out of her pants.

Now, the scientist at STAR Labs were testing Barry's ability to multitask by having him play a bunch of different games with each person at the Lab.

He sped between Caitlin (who was playing Operation), Dr. Wells (who was playing chess), Tori (who was playing checkers) and Cisco (who was playing Ping pong).

"This isn't even remotely, anatomically correct" Caitlin exclaimed, getting frustrated with the game.

"That's not the point, Dr. Snow" Wells stated as he concentrated on moving his piece in chess.

Barry sped over to Tori, moving a piece and then sped to Cisco.

"Then what is the point?" Caitlin sighed as the game buzzed once again while she tried pulling out a piece from the body.

Barry sped to her, pulling a piece out quickly.

"To have fun" he tells her, showing off a smile before going to chess.

"And to continue your ongoing training by testing the speed of your mind by pushing your ability to multitask" Dr. Wells explains as Barry goes to play his part in checkers.

He sped between the team and as he played Ping pong, Tori clapped.

"I win!" She cheered and Barry sped to Caitlin.

"What!?" He shouted before pulling out a piece and speeding to Dr. Wells.

"Guess you just don't got them skills like Tori Baker, son!" She says before rolling around in the chair she was in.

There was a ping from the computer.

"I think we got something" Tori says as she walked to the computer to see what it said.

Caitlin groaned loudly making Tori look at her.

"Chill out, cuz. It's just a kids' game"

"Checkmate" Wells shouted making Barry stop in his game of Ping pong.

"Wait, checkmate?"

"Checkmate" Wells smirks and Barry sighs before walking to the computer to see what Tori was looking up.

"Two losses what the heck" he sighs.

"I guess we still have a few things left to learn, don't we, Mr. Allen?" Dr. Wells smirked, rolling over to the computer as well.

Barry gets a quick call and once he hangs up, he looks up at the four.

"For the record, I crushed it in operation and ping pong. But I got to give it to Tori because she beat me 3 out of 4 games on checkers" he winks at her and she laughs.

"Okay, now go fight crime" Tori pushes him and he grabs his suit and leaves.

"And this is where my team monitors the police bands for criminal activity.
We can track anything that's happening in the city. Check this out. We've got our own satellite" Tori walks in to see Barry showing a blonde woman around the lab.

"I know. I've hacked into it from time to time" the blonde replies to Barry.

"Um who is this and why is she in our head quarters that should be highly restricted and secretive" Tori says, getting the two's attention.
