40. The Note and the Log

"When did you get this?" Tori asks, standing up.

"I saw it and I called you right after"

"Well, where was it?" Barry asks.

"I went to the bathroom upstairs and when I came down, it was sitting on the kitchen table" Brooke explains, visibly shaking in fear.

"Not that I'm not happy he didn't harm you, but why didn't he if he knew you were here" Tori asks.

"Your guess is as good as mine and that's what scares me"

"From now on, you're not being left alone and we will find him. Let's get Cisco and Wells in the know" Tori says,"I'll go to the cortex and call everyone there. Can you drive Brooke?"

"Yeah" Barry gives Tori a quick kiss before she teleports to the lab where Wells already was.

"Dr. Wells we have a problem" Tori walks over to him before handing him the note.

He quickly reads it before looking up.

"Call Cisco and Caitlin, won't you" he says before rolling off to the computer to start searching about David's whereabouts.

Tori texts out an "S.O.S in the cortex" to the two and five minutes later, Brooke and Barry show up.

"Ms. Baker, will you come with me" Dr. Wells asks and both Tori and Brooke begin to walk.

"I mean Brooke" he chuckles,"I'll address Tori as Dr. Baker from now on"

"We're both doctors" the sisters say together.

"I'll address you as Brooke then" Wells says before leading Brooke out of the cortex.

Sooner than later, Cisco and Caitlin show up and Cisco and Tori automatically begin searching on the computer databases for any reports about seeing David out and about.

"There's been nothing reported anywhere about him" Tori groans.

"That leaves us with one thing" Barry sighs,"we gotta go find him ourselves"

"That's crazy" Brooke walks in with Wells following.

"It's better to go out and find him before he finds us and possibly kills you" Tori says.

Brooke is quiet for a second,"Alright, but please be safe. Be careful"

"Pshh, of course we will" Tori says before teleporting to change into her suit and then teleporting out.

"I hate this place so much" Tori says as they enter David's secret hideout they found before.

"Yeah, it makes him look kind of obsessive" Barry looks around with his hands rested on his hips.

"Do we just wait here?" Tori asks the guys in the lab.

"I guess so" they hear Cisco.

"David always goes there at least twice a day, one always being at night so he should be there any time soon" Brooke informs them.

"Okie dokes" Tori says before sitting down on the floor, making Barry look at her.

"What are you doing?"

"Waiting" Tori replies to him.

"We're about to fight a guy with telekinesis who is out to kill us and your family and you're sitting on the ground?" he asks before chuckling,"you are very strange"
