39. Truth About Wells

"Are you sure she's alright? It's been 40 minutes" Barry paces the floor.

"Yeah, the bee must've affected her more than we thought but she should be up soon" Caitlin says and just as she finishes her sentence, Tori jumps up with a gasp, pulling the oxygen mask off her.

"Tori!" everyone shouts, running up to her.

"You're still alive!" Felicity cheers as Caitlin begins to check up on Tori's vitals.

"Yay" Tori replies quickly before looking around.

"What's wrong?" Barry asks, grabbing her hands.

"Nothing. I just had this dream while passed out where the cortex was filled with bees and I'm terrified"

"I can assure you, we're bee-free" Brooke says and Tori sighs in relief.

"I'm so done with bees. If I see another bee I'm freezing them all"

"You're the reason why bees are dying at alarming rates" Brooke crosses her arms.

All Tori does is glare at her.

"I like her" Felicity laughs, pointing at Brooke.

"You're all set. You healed nicely and your vitals are perfect" Caitlin says.

"Aw thanks, yours are too" Tori replies with a wink, making Caitlin roll her eyes and Felicity snort.

"So, I know why Dr. McGee doesn't like Dr. Wells that much" Barry tells Tori, grabbing their coffees from the pick up table at Jitter's.

"She doesn't like him?"

"Yeah there was a lot of tension when we were meeting with her yesterday. But anyways, she says that he changed after his fiancé died"

"Well, yeah. Everyone would have a big change if the love of their life died. It's not really a logical explanation" Tori says as they sit at a table.

"Yeah, I guess"

"There's Felicity and Ray" Tori nods to the door and they walk through.

They get a couple coffees before joining Tori and Barry.

"We really appreciate you guys helping us yesterday. Thank you"

"No, thank you. This 'mission' made me realize what was wrong with my suit" Ray smiles,"all this time I thought I needed to go big, but in fact, I had to go smaller" he pulls out one of the bees in a tube from his pocket.

"Well, that's great. Come down to visit once you got your suit perfected" Barry says with a smile.

"Anyways, we should probably get going. Long drive back to Starling City. Time to go face...well, everything" Felicity stands up along with everyone else.

"I'm gonna miss you" Tori says as she hugs Felicity.

"You say that every time" Felicity laughs, the two stepping away from the hug.
