52. Lian Yu

~5 months later~

Oliver ran back after a jog to his new home in the suburbs where Felicity sat on the couch reading a magazine.

Once she sees him she stands up and he smiles at her. He grabs her waist and kisses her.

"I just finished talking to Cisco. Team Flash is a go!" Felicity cheers for her friends in Central City.

"That's great and I'm happy for them but for now, that is no longer our business" he kisses her again.

"Okay well then with that said, I have some news that you may not like but maybe you will, I don't know-"

"Felicity" he gives her a look.

"Alright, so recently I've been...checking up on Lian Yu just to make sure nothing was going on with our prison"

"Felicity, I just talked about this. Do I have to explain again how-"

"We left the vigilante life behind in Star City and now you want to have a normal life with me yadda yadda. Yes, yeah I know but I was just itching to do something for one last time and well, when I did check on the island, for fun I may add because, like you said, no vigilante life, I found something weird"

"It's Lian Yu, everything's weird" he replies, crossing his arms, making Felicity hold up her finger.

"Yes, that is right but" she walks over to her laptop that sat on the counter and he follows her,"there are these heat signatures that are off. See that tiny dot right there," she points at the thermo map where the entire island is shown as yellow and orange and multiple dots are shown as red except one.

"It's cold one minute and then hot the other. I don't know what you want to do because I thought that maybe it wasn't a big deal-"

"Wait" Oliver stops her, remembering something he learned months ago,"cold one minute and hot the other?" He looks at the dot on the thermo-map that turned red and blue.

"That sounds familiar" he says, his eyes widening a little.

"Felicity," they look at each other,"we're taking a trip to Lian Yu"

"What happened to no thug life?"

"We'll come back to our normal life once we make sure this isn't what I think this is"

"And what do you think it is?" Felicity asks, following him as he walked into their bedroom before stopping and turning around, making her stop as well.
