His brother could walk right into these doors any minute. No. Stop thinking this way. I dismiss the idea and decide to stare at Adam instead.

He's deep in his sleep as a he slightly snores. I want to reach up and kiss him awake but I don't dare to interrupt his comfort.

I trace his tattoo on his index as I remember what happened. His kisses still linger on my lips and body. I would've gave in and let him have me. But I have build up this wall for so long, I'm not shattering it down.

When I was young, all I did was fantasize a big wedding on a lake with white flowers on each crystalized table and a ribbon tied to the chairs. Also, I made a vow to stay a virgin until the night of my wedding but that doesn't mean I haven't fooled around before. I don't think of my body as a treasure or sacred territory that when prince charming comes along, he can have it. No. He can have me whole. And if one part is lacking then he can have me none.

This morning, Adam made me forget all about my vow. It might be stupid to some people but it isn't to me. However, if Adam stays longer, I might find it stupid myself.

"Good morning, beautiful," Adam's voice comes out raspy and it's the sexiest voice I ever heard.

"Morning," I smile back.

He holds me tighter and closer as he plants a kiss on my forehead.

"Slept well?" I ask.

"Mmm," the corner of his mouth tugs, reaching his eyes.

He holds my hand and plays with the charms dangling from my bracelet. The music of the jingles fill the room instantly. I meet his eyes as his grin stretches.

"Thank you," I whisper. "I really do love it," I give him a light kiss on his cheek and head to the bathroom. I dab some wet paper on my face to reduce the swollen parts and brush my teeth with my finger. As I'm just about to leave, I feel the world spinning. My hands grab the sink as my heart flutters out of its place.

I'm staring at the door and I'm afraid to walk out. I mean, what happens next? I lay down my options: one, we could stay together until his brother or Jeremy ruin it. Two, I could leave him again and... no scratch that, I can't leave him. Three, I'm out of options.

I gather up my courage and walk out of the bathroom. I feel Adam's heavy eyes on me until I'm seated next to the bed beside him.

"Hi," he smiles.

"Hi," I smile back. I can feel the tension in the room which makes my stomach go hollow.

"What now?" I whisper. Hopefully he didn't hear me.

He cuts me off with an adamant shake of his head. "Don't," he says firmly.

"You promised not to leave me," he then states.

I make my way to him until I'm seated on his lap. I cup his cheek with my hand and brush my lips to his. "Then trust me," I whisper.

His eyes sparkle within mine as our lips collide. His tongue parts my lips and I'm left drowning yet again under his touch.

His hands stroke my hair down to my waist. I grab his hands and stop them before going down any further. I break the kiss, "I have work in two hours."

"And besides, we still have some talking to do," I add.

He sighs as he kisses my cheek, leaving me blushing.

"How about I make us some omelettes and we can talk after we eat?" he playfully asks.

"Sounds good," I tease.

Ten minutes later, eggs are flying everywhere. After his first attempt, he burned them. He tried again, but he couldn't flip it. He did actually flip it but it didn't specifically land in the pan.

I grab the pan from his hands and place it in the sink that I'm pretty sure is made of stainless--I think. The kitchen is huge for only one person. There's a huge counter in the middle of it made by enchanting marbles with a huge oven and a dishwasher placed on the wall next to the sink. I still can't believe that he lives in this house.

"I still can't believe that this house is yours," I say. "It's huge," I chuckle out.

"Maybe you should hire a chef, teach you some basic rules of cooking," I tease. In the bowl, I managed to crack five eggs and I'm stirring them.

"Oh yeh?" He startles. "Maybe I should hire you," he then winks.

I can feel the heat radiating from him on my back as he buries his nose in my neck. I stop stirring and turn to meet his lips with mine.

"I'll consider," I crinkle my nose.

"I said maybe, doesn't mean I offered the job for you," he smirks.

I feel like creative class all over again.

"You're a jerk," I turn and continue stirring, pushing away his words from my mind.

"Lesley, I'm just joking," he sighs. "In class, I hated when you rejected me and the only way I could twist it around was to offend you," he grabs a lock of my hair and plays with it.

"It's just a bad habit. I always back fire," he explains.

I'm listening but my mind isn't comprehending. My hand is still stirring as Adam stops me by placing his hand above mine, "I think those eggs are as mixed as they could be."

I sigh in defeat as he slowly turns me around and lifts my chin. "I love you," he whispers, "and I'm going to keep saying it until you hate me."

"I can never hate you, Adam," my shoulders relax as I inhale a breath.

Never, I mouth. He slowly leans in but the sound of a ringtone interrupts us.

I reach into my back pocket and Mom flashes across my screen. I hit ignore and shove it back.

"Maybe you should call her," Adam says.

The ringtone plays again. I grab my phone and hit ignore.

"I'll call her later," I weakly smile. He seems like he wants to push the topic more than it actually is. So, I immediately change the subject.

"Now, watch and learn how an omelette is actually made," I say as I pour the eggs in the pan and toss some chopped vegetables and cheese.

From behind me, Adam whistles, "Yes, chef."

I sneak a look at him, as a playful grin is on his face.

I capture this moment and tug it away in my heart forever.
