"Tess! Jem! Where are you going?" Will asked.
They didn't stop to answer, they just kept running. When we all got upstairs, we heard crashing then silence. We ran into the living room following Tess and Jem still, but we didn't find anyone or anything. Jem ran out the front door suddenly. We took a minute to follow, because we looked to Tess for an answer, but they hadn't touched so Tess had no idea what Jem had just seen. We eventually followed to find Jem standing in the front lawn looking at the ground.
"Jem what did you see?" Tess asked.
"He's gone." Jem said.
"Who's gone, Jem? Dad?" Izzy asked.
"They took him." Jem replied.
"Who took dad, Jem?" I asked.
"Amelia Lee."
"Jem, who's that?" Will asked.
"Dad's old boss, and she's not looking to only have one bender."
Nobody needed to ask what he meant that time, we all understood instantly. She was wanting a full set.
