I paced inside the "bedroom" that I was escorted to. I didn't understand what she meant by she hoped that Izzy, Jem, and Will unlock the rest of their bending by the end of the day. The intercom by the door beeped, interrupting my thoughts. I walked over to the intercom and pressed the call button to answer. The screen brought up an image of Amelia, and she didn't look to happy about something.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Nothing is going the way it's supposed to!" she said.
"And what exactly do you mean by that?"
"Your family. They aren't listening!"
"Yea, that's what we're like. Stubborn and uncooperative."
"No! They literally aren't listening! They've started to rebel against everything!"
"That's not my family. They wouldn't rebel unless I said something. They look to me as a leader."
"Well, you're right about that, but......"
"But what? What did you do!?"
"I tried to make them more susceptible, so they would listen to my orders better, but the serum my scientists made had a glitch and they rebelled."
"You injected my family with serums! Let me out! Now!"
She didn't hesitate to open the door. Once the door was open my fire erupted from my shoulder in rage and extended towards Amelia.
"Give me a good reason to not burn your face off!" I said.
"I can give you your family back and leave you all be." She responded.
I took a few seconds to think about it. I lowered my arm and extinguished it. I waited for Amelia to lead me to my siblings.
