"I'm here! Sorry, but all Johnathan wanted to do was play!" You told them as you walked into Arthur's dining area. The Brit chuckled.
Ludwig stood from his seat. "That's alright, (Name). Now we can start."
You nodded, grabbing the note pad and pencil Mathias handed you. You looked around the small room. Ludwig stood on the other end of the table, Arthur and Mathias stood on either side of you, and Elizabeta stood by Ludwig and Arthur. Ludwig set a paper on the table, showing Tue blue prints of how the second wall is supposed to end up once it's finished. "Alright, this is how we want it. It'll need to be the same width, height, length, everything as what we already have. We have all the supplies to complete the wall, what we need is people. We need a steady schedule for us to go by and escape plans in case a herd comes in."
"We should keep Antonio inside the walls. He can take care of the kids and animals." You told him. "Peter and Johnathan can help him, so I don't think we'll need anymore people on the animals. Feliciana and Lovina should stay in the walls as well. Feliciana isn't the strongest and doesn't know how to handle a gun, but she can stay here and care for the gardens and greenhouses. Lovina is starting to show in her pregnancy, so it's dangerous for her to go out, but she can help inside, maybe cook, put together snacks and drink for those going out, help in the gardens and help with animals or kids when needed."
Ludwig nodded. "Yes, that sounds good. But then we'll need someone on the gate, someone in the tower, and someone, I'd prefer two people, on the wall."
You nodded. "I agree. We only have two people that know sniper, so I think Alfred and Tina should switch every other day. But I also think Tina should stay inside the walls because she knows meds." Another nod from Ludwig. "Then we should have Katyusha on the gate during the day, then maybe Natalya on the gate at night. Katyusha should stay in because she doesn't know much about guns, and could help with Peter and Johnathan. Johnathan likes to listen to her sing while he goes to take a nap, and she's learning meds; another reason to keep her inside." Ludwig's lips twitched in a small smile.
Arthur smiled as he watched you map out where and what people are going to be doing inside the walls. "Chun-Yan, Elizabeta, Astrid, and Anna should take the wall. I'm not saying girls are weak by this or anything because I am one myself, but I think it's smart to keep them in. They're quicker to react when a stranger comes in and take longer than men to trust random people." Mathias snickered along with Elizabeta. "I'll stay on inspection of the wall, then go and report to whoever is working on the wall. I'd tell you when it's time to head back, bring news of what's going on at camp, give warnings and such. Alice and I will switch off doing that."
The German chuckled. "I like how you're figuring all of this out. Did you do something like this before?"
You bashfully bit your lip and played with the hem of your shirt. "Kind of, but it comes naturally. My parents brought me to work once, they were doctors, and it was really busy that day. So busy they couldn't figure out who should go where, so I helped, and it got everything done. But that's beside the point." They all chuckled, then gestured for you to continue. "I think all the guys should go out to work on the wall, half on the wall, half fending off Roamers. You'd switch off every other day, then every couple of days you'd have a rest day; just a day to chill inside the walls and gain back top strength to go back out and work. This would go until the wall is complete. Now that's the part I can't do; calculate how long until the wall is completely finished."
"I like it." Ludwig stated, sitting back down. "Simple, but a sturdy plan. However, I don't like the little strength within the walls while we're working on the walls."
Nodding, you looked down at the notepad. "Maybe we could have two more men back here in the walls to switch off with two others every other day. Will that work?" Ludwig rubbed his chin before nodding. "Awesome! Let's go get some rest, then we'll tell everyone in the morning." You smiled. You then helped Arthur clean up as the other three left. "Thank you, Arthur." He hummed in question. "For today, that is. It was nice to get out and take my mind off things."
