Sorry if this chapter is too short.
I hate seeing my best friend being like this. She is the best friend that everybody would love, she is an angel. Myra never say a word after we talked to my parents, at first they want me to bring my brother or Luke with us but I told them that it would be better if Myra and I will have a moment together and they agreed.
"I told you we're fine, she'll get through it okay?" I told James who never stop asking me if he can come with us.
"What if I'll drive you both? I promise that I will zip my mouth shut." He begs.
"No James, I'm serious."
"And I'm serious too Sam!"
I sighed "No James, this is a serious matter and Myra needs alone time. Just stay here and I promise to call you later."
Suddenly Luke stood up on the couch and looked at us.
"What if James and I follow you guys there? I'm not comfortable too that you guys will leave this town on your own. Besides you'll be back pretty late and that's not good you know."
"No, no one is coming with me and that is final. If you guys dare to follow us, believe me on what I'm capable of" I turn around and pick my bag on the table. I heard them grunt in defeat.

"You sure you don't want me to go with you?"
"Yeah, and thank you by the way."
"No problem, promise me you will call me okay?" She nod and hug me.
"I promise"
I waited for her to enter the house and then I left.
Myra don't deserve it, she is too young and vulnerable for this. My life is not perfect but at least my life is not that complicated to deal with. I know that God has a plan for her.
I went to the café to chill for a while, I've been to this place twice when Myra's family invited me so it's a bit familiar to me. I ordered a cup of cappuccino and cookies for myself.
My phone ring and It's not Myra, its James.
"Hello"
"How's Myra?"
"She's already in their house."
"Did she call you if she's fine?" James asked.
"Not yet, why?"
"Nothing" My brother may not say it but I can feel that he has some feelings for Myra, but Myra was too blind for it.
"She is going to be fine James."
"Where are you?" He changes the subject.
"At the café, you know chilling just to kill time."
"Okay, promise me to go home early."
"Promise, anyway where is Luke?"
"He's with mom and dad at the grocery store." I laugh imagining Luke with them.
