Intentions

*Sorry for a short update*

The moment I hear his name slip on her tongue, it made me feel some kind of excited, happy and confuse at the same time. This is not right. I thought to myself.

I look to my side to see Harry playing with the kids.

"I'll just go down for a minute to see the visitor. You'll be okay here with the kids for a while?" I ask him.

He nods and let go of me.

Walking my way downstairs after going to my bathroom, I've realize how was my feeling is so wrong. I have a boyfriend now and I like Harry. Luke at the first place doesn't need or want anything from me anymore. He just gave up on me. The thing that hurt me the most is when he left me in the middle of when I needed him the most. I wonder how he found me here, he doesn't know what happen to me and I have no plans on telling him that.

As I reach the living room, I saw him and my papa talking formally. I cough a little for them to notice me but it seems that they are too engrossed on their topic or I am not just too good at calling their reaction.

"Papa,Luke." I mumbled.

They both looked at me and then smiled at me warmly. Papa says something to Luke and he nods at papa leaving us alone.

"Luke," I pronounce his name again like it was my favorite word of the day.

"Sam" He said and even if I admit it or not, I was hoping for him to call my name once again because it is just so nice to hear my name coming from that lips.

"Go take a sit," I pointed the huge sofa.

"I've heard what happen to Henry and I'm sorry." He said sadly.

I shook my head,

"It's okay Luke; it's not your fault. He is in the better place now." I told him.

"How did you know?" I asked not looking at anywhere but him.

"I bumped to Myra yesterday and she told me everything." He said while looking at me too.

I nod and bit my lip looking at the walls behind him then back to him.

"I'm sorry for everything." He said.

I frown thinking what it might be once again.

"For what Luke?"

"For leaving you when you needed me the most but Sam please, I'm begging you; I promise you that I will do everything if you just let me in once again." He begs and I look down the floor and shook my head from left to right.

"Don't do this Luke, I have a boyfriend now and whatever what happen to us in the past will just stay there." I told him.

"I know okay? You don't have to tell me that every time! All I'm asking is a chance and I know that somewhere inside you, still love me too." He said confidently. I hate it sometimes when he is right.

He is now holding my arms and making me look at him.

"What the f*ck is going on here?" Harry said.

I moved my arms away from Luke and turn to see Harry looking at me and then Luke.

"Nothing, Luke is leaving anyway. Right Luke?" I said.

Harry didn't say anything, he just move towards me and put his hand on my waist.

"I'm leaving but don't forget to what I told you Sam. I'll be seeing you around." He said coolly as he looks at me and then smirks at Harry.

After he left, Harry and I didn't talk too much. He said that he needs to leave already and that it's an emergency. I was hoping that it's not because what happened a minute ago. His change of moods confused me and about Luke showing up makes me even confused even more. What does he wants now?

I've been calling Harry ever since he left our house yesterday. He never answer my calls even my messages and now I'm worried.

"Ma'am, is that all?" My secretary asks.

"Yes, thank you." I told her and when she left, I dialed his number once again but he is not answering his phone.

I've decided to call Yana. Her phone ring twice then answered it.

"Hello, Yana it's me Sam." I said.

"Oh hey Sam, what's up?" she beamed.

"I'm good, I'm good, well, and actually I was hoping if you know where Harry is? I've been trying to contact him since yesterday but I he is not answering my calls."

"Oh since yesterday? But he is just with us last night at the restobar and he said that you are busy with something that's why you can't come." She said confusingly.

Why did Harry say that? Is it about Luke? I lean on my chair as I keep on thinking what Harry is thinking right now.

"Are you still there Sam?"

"Yeah, yeah, anyway thanks Yana. I hope to see you soon."

"You're welcome!" She said.

I put my phone on the table and sigh deeply.

"Ughh!" I groan.

Grabbing my phone to call Harry again, my phone beeped and Harry's name flash. I sigh in relief, knowing that he is not avoiding me. I open to see a message that I'm pretty sure that is not for me.

Harry: We need to talk Elle; I want to see you now. I'll be there at your place at seven.

I frown and ready to cry but I don't want to jump on any conclusion for now. I need to make sure for it first.

I grab my bag and went outside my office.

"Ma'am I'm sorry but you still have a meeting after two hours together with Mr. Samonte." My secretary said.

"Thank you but can you please cancel it today and re scheduled it by Wednesday?"

"Sure ma'am but I hope you don't mind me asking, where you are going to, just in case someone called me."

"Just tell them that I'm in some mission." I told her and leave the office.
