Just You Is Enough

The choice

-Short chapter-

Nervous but this is what I want, my decision. I look back to Scott and Myra who is sitting inside the car gesturing me to go on. I nod at them as they started to vanish from my sight. Sighing deeply I knock on the door and after a couple of knocks, I was surprise to see her standing in front of me wearing a long shirt, pink short shorts, and a pink hello kitty slippers. I couldn't help myself but felt jealous, I knew we are not together but seeing him with a girl hurts me so bad especially that the girl I am talking about is Tanya.

Rolling her eyes, I know that she wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. I wanted to ask myself what is she doing here but I couldn't. Remembering myself why am I here, I finally threw her the question.

"Is Luke there?" I asked calmly.

Shivering from the cold, I pull my thin coat tightly to my body to warm it up even just for a little while.

I should have chosen the other coat than this one; I never knew that this coat is too thin for today's weather.

Rolling her eyes at me, she said;

"I'm sorry but he doesn't want to be disturbed upstairs." She said as she boringly looks on her nails.

"Actually 'we' doesn't want to be disturbed." She added and that makes me more irritated but I still manage to calm myself. I know she just wanted to piss me off. I don't trust her and yes she might flirt with Luke again but I trust Luke too much that I know he will not do the same mistake again unless he doesn't want to be with me anymore and I don't want to jump on that conclusion.

"Can I just please talk to him? Tell him that I am here..." I told her.

"I told you, Luke doesn't want to be disturbed and besides he hates you so much right now you know? He said that you are just playing on his feelings." She said and I wonder if he really said that.

"I am not okay? What he saw is nothing! Harry and I were just talking!" I madly told her.

"Oh really? Do you think it will change his feelings when you tell him that? Think of it, while he is trying to get you back, you are there with some other guy! How dare you!" she said angrily and I understand where she is coming from.

"I have a reason that is why I want to talk to him. Please tell him that I am here." I beg as I sneeze.

This cold is not helping me but just like in a song, the cold never bothered me anyway.

"I'm sorry, just go home. It's final; I won't let him talk to you." She said as she slams the door in front of me.

As much as I want to hide my tears, it flows freely to my face without any warning.

I sat down on the staircase of his house just crying and not feeling cold anymore.

'I will be waiting here 'till you have decided to talk to me'

I type as I hit the sent button and just sit there watching the night sky.

Seconds, minutes that turn to hours: even the shadow of him haven't showed up yet. Is he really that mad at me? I've been sneezing now and starting to feel a little bit dizzy. It's getting late now but I don't care.

I was woken up with a sound of people talking, I felt like my headache gets worse as I slightly open my eyes to see that I am not home, but this place is kind of familiar... It's Luke's place.

"She didn't tell me that Sam is here!"

"She even texted you Luke, she's been there outside in the freaking freezing cold waiting for you! And why is that girl Tanya girl doing here again?"

"She's just a friend okay? That's all. I told you I haven't looked on my phone for a while."

"She's just a friend? Like really Luke, where did you become this stupid! She is the reason why you and Sam broke up; she treated my best friend like a b*tch, what do you think she felt when she saw her here earlier? She was with Harry that night just to clear some things because she wanted to finally move on and start what you two have but instead of hearing her out, you just jump on your conclusion. What a really nice move Luke."

There is no doubt that it was Myra and Luke who is having a conversation outside. I sigh as I can still feel my head hurts and I feel like my surroundings were spinning.

"Sometimes I wonder what's with you that everybody likes." A voice said coming from beside the curtain. I didn't know that there is someone there.

"Tanya," I muttered.

"Actually you are not that pretty. Maybe you have a good body shape but I can't see anything else. All I see is a woman who is just plain and that's what makes me intrigues you more. Who wants plain right? Everybody loves or wants something new but you? I don't know..."

"Tanya, I'm not in a mood to argue with you now. You can think everything you want." I said as I push myself up from the bed and sit slightly.

"You are really so great at pretending Sam, making a scene just to get his attention really works on him but guess what? You can't do that trick on me." She said in a sarcastic tone of voice.

"I'm not making a scene here Tanya and I'm not playing tricks on anyone" I said as I sneeze one more. This is getting worse.

"Tell me what you really want Sam? Tell me what can makes you stay away from Luke?" She asks.

I shook my head from left to right.

"I have the same reason as you, when it comes to love I will do whatever it takes. So I will not give up that easily too, I'm not giving up without a fight if that's what you wanted to hear."

She just looks at me and said;

"If that's your choice then," she said and leaves me alone in the room.

With just a matter of second, Myra and Luke burst out from the door.
