Looking at myself through this mirror I wonder and I want to ask my reflection, if I was a man would I risk my life to be with this girl? Would I want to spend my life with her? Because honestly, I can't imagine what Luke sees in me. I am just a woman who is boring, like how I love being in a room reading, writing, eating fries and burger, having a cup of coffee in my favorite coffee shop. Just simple as that or a woman who loves her room wall painted of plain white. Yeah, I am plain compare to the every other woman out there who has more talent and interesting life than mine.
"You know, if I have a face and body like yours I will also keep on looking at the mirror" Myra enters the room without closing the door and jumps on my bed.
"You got to be kidding me..." I scoff and sit beside her. She looks at me and rolled her eyes.
"Are we jumping to this issue again?"
"Don't blame me, I can't help it."
"Look at me," she ordered as she sat up.
"I will never get tired of telling you how beautiful you are inside and out, you know if you continue what are you thinking, you will never be happy. You're like putting a bonfire in the middle of the snow were you should enjoying it and not concentrating on the fire." She said and huffs.
I look at my best friend and smiled at her. Well she is right, I am not going to be happy if I act this way, this is me and this is how I live so, they should accept me for who I am.
"Don't do that" she said.
"What?"
"I said don't do that, stop looking at me and smiling like a maniac!" she teases.
"I am not!" I protest and we both laugh.
My brother appears on the door and he is not alone, beside him is where Luke standing confidently.
"Look who came to see you!" My bother said in a girly voice.
"You invited me here James." Luke said smirking at my brother.
"That is because you never stop calling me," my brother rolled his eyes and smiled at Luke.
"Whatever you say, Lukey!" Luke punches my brother slightly in the arm.
"Come on babe, let's get out in here. I can feel the room getting hotter." Myra teases and winks at me.
My brother looks between Luke and I waiting for us to say something.
"Actually why don't we just stay in here with them, it's not like they're going to do something inappropriate right?" My brother enters the room and sit on my bed. I rolled my eyes and cross my arms on my chest.
"James, let's go and respect your sisters privacy!" Myra scolds at him pushing him up.
Luke is still standing at the door looking at my brother with his childish behavior.
"Fine, but you guys don't lock the door. I mean it!" My brother shouted as Myra is pulling him outside.
I let Luke in and close the door but like my brother said, I didn't lock it.
"Hey," he told me. We are standing and just looking at one another.
