Lies beneath those eyes

I spent the rest of the afternoon at Henry's place with Myra and Ethan. Surprisingly my friends love Ethan just like how they accepted and love Luke. We are on the living room eating pizza and talking with a music playing at the back. I was lying on the couch with my feet on Ethan's lap while Myra and Henry were sitting at the carpeted floor.

"You guys were lucky for having a one week vacation." Said Ethan, he is working on the hospital as a nurse.

"Yeah, I was surprised too when Mr. Bennet said that but now my problem is where to go now."Henry said after drinking his soda.

"Maybe we could go to some beach or resort and spend the rest of the week there?" Myra suggest as I laugh when Ethan tickles my feet.

"Stop it Ethan!" I told him and he laughed at me, I look at Myra and Henry who is having a conversation on where to go.

"How about you, what are you going to do the whole week?" Ethan asked me.

"Well, I really don't know maybe I'll go with my family and at Friday I'll be leaving to spend my time alone for the rest of the weekend."

"Wait, Friday? It's your birthday Sam and you'll be leaving?" Myra intrudes.

"Yeah, I was thinking that I'll be using this vacation for that."

"No you can't, we are going to celebrate it on Friday." She said and I roll my eyes.

"We can celebrate it before I leave." I told her and I wiggle my feet at henrys lap.

"Wait, where are you going and why are you leaving?" Ethan asked. I turn to see Henry smiling while looking down at his phone; maybe he is dating someone now?

"Hey that's rude, so stop staring at him and answer my question." Ethan orders and smiled at me.

"Every year she does this thing, she stays somewhere which no one knows even her family for three days without cell phone, laptop, and no internet at all!" Myra answered for me and I thank her for that. I grab another pizza and start munching it.

Ethan looks at me suspiciously.

"What?" I asked.

"You are not having an affair do you?" I laugh harder and Myra joins me.

"Of all the excuses you can say Ethan, gosh!" Myra says in between her laughs.

"No I'm not! I'm faithful okay?" I told him while I remember Luke and I can help but sigh.

"Something happen?" Henry asked putting his phone down the table and grabs the nuggets.

"Well, I think we had a little misunderstanding and that's all."

"Everything's going to be alright." Myra assures me and I nod at her.

"I'm just tired of having an argument with him about Tanya and all, he doesn't get my point. He is so insensitive." I told them honestly and they just watching me.

"Tanya is still here?" Henry asked and I nod. Ethan is massaging my feet and looking at me once in a while, he didn't know who Tanya is but he remain silent and listening at our conversation.

"Tanya is Luke's childhood friend, just so you know and now she is going to stay at Luke's place because Luke ask her to and I'm so annoyed right now because when I called him earlier to tell him about the vacation, Tanya is the one who is holding his phone and when I ask her to give the phone back to Luke he just said that I don't need to be rude to Tanya, he only assumes by the way Tanya acted. He even did not ask me what happen at the first place and as I remember I used the word 'please' to her." I told Ethan and panted.
