Just like a fairytale, I feel like I was the princess and he was the prince, but then I was awoken with the reality. The reality that separates us, reality that telling me that he is not mine anymore...
No more us...
My body felt numb for a moment as my mind was clouded by the past that keeps on hunting me until now...
Tugging me, I turn to Myra as we both like talking with our minds.
She nods like she is asking me if we should finally go. I look back to the person who makes me feel this way to see him also looking back at me with confusion.
"Oh, I'm sorry we forgot to introduce you our new friends we just met. Sam, Myra, this is our friend Luke, and Luke this is Sam and Myra." Julian said.
Before Myra and I could react, Luke speaks already; "Yeah, I know them," He said casually with a nod.
"You do?" Aaron asked.
"Yeah, actually we're friends back then..." Luke said as he Look at me.
Ouch!
Everyone looks at me like I was some kind of a suspect in a crime scene.
"Ah, yes we are." I said giving them a small smile as I look back to Myra.
"Isn't it a small world?" I heard Julian said at the back as everyone started to have their own world talking about things.
I saw Luke sit in front of me, beside him is Julia. Julian's sister. Her arm is resting on Luke's arms. She is laughing about something that he said. Trying to look away from them, I turn to Myra and Julian trying to get involve on their topic even if inside of me is shaking from jealousness.
"You want to dance again?" I heard Julian said to Myra.
"No, I'm good here." Myra response to Julian, I know that she just don't want me to be left alone.
After a while I was having a conversation with Aaron, he was talking about his trip to Asia and about their culture. It was really interesting as you hear him talks about it that makes you want to book yourself already and fly there!
"Doing the old tactics again?" A voice said.
Turning around to where the voice is coming, I saw Luke's hands on Julia's knees. Luke is holding a glass of and took a sip of it.
"It's not a tactic man, this is me. I'm just sharing my experience." Aaron spat back as he rolls his eyes.
"That's what you told us before dude before you hit the girl at the club last week," Luke said as some of them chuckles.
Aaron didn't find it funny nor do I. I turn to see Aaron trying to fight the urge of saying something but dismissed it already. Turning to my left, I saw Julian and Myra flirting and that's when my brother showed up.
He doesn't look happy...
"Myra," He mumbles.
Everyone turns to him with a frown.
"Myra, you're already drunk let's go." My brother ordered.
Myra was shocked and stubbornly said; "I am not going with you..."
"Wait, wait, wait, and who the hell are you man?" Julian asked irritably.
My brother didn't bother answered him but continue talking to Myra.
"I told you James, I'm not! Sam, can you tell your brother I'll just stay here?" Myra said.
Everyone looks at me,
