Just You Is Enough

Think about it

I felt like all my blood go to my head that I can’t think of anything now but get mad at him. He has no right to tell me that and never ever compare me to anyone especially her. I really have no idea why he is being like this and I didn’t regret slapping him because it was all worth it.

Never have I seen this coming especially from him, I felt like I have been slapped thirty times.   Looking at him, I know that he was also surprised by the words came out of his own mouth.

“I didn’t-“before he continues, I stop him there by raising my hands motioning him to stop.

“No Luke, you stop. What did I do to you for you to treat me like this? Don’t you dare compare me to her because I’m far from her; we are two different people just so you know. You are accusing me a slut and comparing me to her well let me ask you Luke, who is the one who slept with you while you were in a relationship? Is that me? For the love of God, you have the face to call me a slut when you were the one who slept with her at the first place! Now tell me Luke, am I really a slut?” I screamed at him.

“Oh come on Sam! And now you’re playing these cards now with me?”He said bitterly.

“Don’t turn the table Luke; you know I’m right that’s why you’re making things more complicated than it already is!”

“I saw you earlier with Ethan; he was kissing you for f*ck sake! You also cried for him!” Then that’s it, I knew where it’s all coming from.

“So this is what it’s all about? You saw him kissing me?” I asked him.

“Yes, why is there something more than that which I should have seen?”

“There is nothing happened more than that, he just said his goodbye. We cleared things already and he promise to stay away from me okay? He kissed me goodbye on my forehead and that’s all!”   He snorted and chuckle.

“You really believe in him huh?” he said and I frown,

“I believe in him because I know he keeps his words.”

“You really are defending him now huh?” I’m really getting annoyed now.

Having this conversation with him will lead us to nothing.

“I do because he is not here to defend himself and I know that it’s true. I’m here in front of you telling only the truth and it’s on you if you don’t. He is really a good person and a good friend of mine but that’s all. How many times do I have to tell you that we were just friends and nothing more? I chose you over him because I love you; he was just there with me as a friend in times that you were not. We may have dated back then but that’s all, it’s all in the history okay?  That’s all I want to say now, so I hope you already hear the words you wanted to hear because I’m getting tired in all of this you know. Can’t we just be happy without drama? You can’t go call me names when you haven’t know the story yet, and the most important is don’t you dare call me a slut because I’m not. I have to go; the so called ‘slut’ needs to rest.” I remark, I sigh deeply and get out of his car and slam the door behind me leaving him alone. I didn’t bother to look at him; I just went inside my flat.

After that day, I’ve never receive an apologize coming from him and of course, I got disappointed. It’s been a week and I’m really having this feeling that he might not be coming back, for good.

I shook my head, I’m thinking too much. Think positive Sam! He might be on your door one of these days knocking.

I’m finally home and was parking my car in front of our house, when I got inside I kissed my mom and dad on the cheek and help them in the kitchen.

“Where is James?” I ask as I put the plates on the table.

“He’s just outside with some of his friends. He’ll be back in a minute.” My mom said putting the salad in the middle with some garlic bread.

“I’m going to get the pasta mom, just stay here.” I order as I made my way to the kitchen.

“Thanks sugar!” she shouted.

Later on when the table were already arranged, just in time the doors open.

“Just in time dude, we’re about to eat now.” I told him and he smiled at me.

“Are you okay? You look terrible.” I said  

“Nah, I’m just handsome.” He said and I rolled my eyes.

“Is there something we should celebrate? We’ve got a lot of food!” I exclaimed as I took a seat.

“After our meal we have something to-“my dad was interrupted by my mom.

“Come on let’s eat.” My mom said glaring at my dad.

“After we eat we are going to sleep.” James said glaring at my mom and dad.

I’m confused but I don’t have strength to ask furthermore as the mouth watering food is in front of me.

  We eat in silence, all you could here were the sound of spoon and fork clinking on our plates and that is so unusual in our family.

I woke up with a sound of voices coming outside my room. Frowning, I silently walk downstairs to see my family gathered in the living room having a deep conversations.

"She is not going anywhere!"
I heard James almost yelled.

"She have to, " my dad said sternly and I can't help but get too intrigue of what they are talking about.

"She is not ours so please. We have to tell her the truth  " I don't need to be told twice and I'm not that slow not to understand things.
