I explained most things about David to mom and dad because as I said before, it's hard to hide things from them. I love them to much.
I told them I met him at the beach, that he recently moved here, and that he was super sweet. Dad got bored and left the conversation so we could continue into 'more detailed girl talk'.
So then I told mom his age, I told her that I stayed with him at the beach and assured her nothing happened because he is not that kind of guy. I didn't want to tell her that he was my teacher, at least not yet.
I told mom Kendra and I would be meeting Danny and David tonight for the football game and she immediately asked for me to bring him over.
"No, mom. I don't think they'll want to do that." I said quickly. Melanie may not have him for a teacher but there's no doubt in my mind she knows who he is. I've heard her friends talk about him enough.
"Oh please, sweetie! I have to meet the man who's making my daughter so happy." She gushed with a smile. "And I know your father would like to 'scare' him." She used air quotes around the word scare. I laughed softly. Dad may be protective but he's to good of a guy to scare anyone. He gets along with everyone.
"Please." She pleaded. I groaned. Melanie wouldn't tell, I trust her enough to know she wouldn't.
"Fine." I said. "We'll be back around 9."
Mom nodded with an excited smile as I made my way to my room with Kendra following behind me.
I fell down on my bed with a sigh.
"What are you going to do?" Kendra asked. I knew she felt bad for me, but I also knew she would be right by my side no matter what went down.
"Pray like hell that Melanie decides to go to bed early tonight." Which I knew wouldn't happen, seeing as it was a Friday night.
I just really hope luck is on my side tonight.

"They want to meet me?" David asked with an eyebrow raised. I nodded and stared at him, waiting his reaction.
We were on the opposite side of the football field, sitting on the hill beside the bleachers. We were pretty well hidden and Kendra had decided to give us some privacy so we both could tell our boys what was going on.
"They know about me?" He asked with a smile. I nodded slowly as his smile grew wider and he hugged me to him. "Of course I want to meet them." He kissed my temple and my body relaxed.
I should've known he wouldn't have had a problem meeting my parents.
"They don't know you're my teacher." I said. "And my sister goes to the school so it's kind of risky."
"You trust your sister, don't you?"
I nodded and he smiled warmly at me.
"Then I do too. I'm excited." I smiled back at his beautiful face and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
He kissed me back, holding my neck in place. I smiled into the kiss. I settled myself onto his lap and pulled away to smile at him. He smirked at me and ran his hands up and down my thighs.
"I think I like the bolder side of you, Madilyn." He teased, rubbing his thumb across my lower lip.
I shivered slightly when he said my name and it didn't go unnoticed by him.
I liked this. I liked being in control of things.
So what I did next surprised us both.
I leaned down and nibbled on his neck. He froze and gripped my hips tightly, making me smile. I placed small kisses on his neck, then moved to his jaw, then finally I planted a long kiss on his lips and pulled away.
His eyes stayed closed for a moment and he sighed.
"Wow." He whispered, opening his eyes. I blushed slightly and smiled at him. He gently rubbed my cheek and something in his eyes sparkled, he was giving me the same look he gave me when I was wearing his shirt.
The look he was giving me kind of scared me, but I didn't let it show because another part of me loves the way he was looking at me.I hugged him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He hugged my waist and I knew he was smiling without even having to look.
A loud cheer pulled me away from him as I turned to see our team making the last touchdown and winning the game.
But that means now he has to meet my parents.
"You ready to go?" Kendra asked, walking up to us with Danny in tow. I slowly nodded. David and I stood up as Kendra and Danny stopped in front of us. My hands were practically shaking with nerves.
"We'll meet you in the parking lot when it clears out." David said, wrapping one arm around my waist. He pulled me against his body, he brought his face to mine and whispered in my ear. "Don't be nervous, babe." Then he left a soft kiss on my lips, erasing all my worries.
Kendra and I walked to the car, arm in arm, as I tried to prepare myself for the night to come.

So Many Reasons
Romance"You're overthinking. I see those gears turning in that pretty little head of yours." I laughed at him and sighed. "There's so many reasons we can't be together, David." He nodded. "I know, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes." "Okay." I said...
