"I want you to meet my mom."

I choked on my soda, the suds burning my throat. David started patting my back, trying to help my coughing fit but to no avail.

I had stayed with David last night again, after telling dad I would be with Kendra and letting mom know where I was really. It was weird lying to dad, but I knew how he'd react. Mom said the same thing grandma said though, she trusted me to make the right choices.

Besides, it's not like David and I would be doing the deed anytime soon. We'd been together two months now, and I wasn't ready to give up my innocence no matter how much I liked him.

"W-what?" I choked loudly.

He chuckled. "Yes. I want you to meet my mom."

"Are you sure that's a good idea? I mean, my parents are okay with your age and you being my teacher. What if your mom doesn't like me because I'm too young for you? Or she turns us in... What if-"

David shut me up by quickly capturing my lips in a long kiss. I was left in a goody daze as I smiled up at him.

"She'll love you." He whispered. I nodded slowly and pulled his lips back to mine.

"So you'll go?" He asked. I nodded once more and he smiled widely, wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug. David started placing kisses on my neck and I giggled, starting to run my hands through his soft hair.

"Dude, seriously. We share a house, if you're going to make out go to your room." Danny's voice rang through the living room and I laughed.

David sighed loudly and stood up, grabbing my hand and leading me back to his room. David shut the door to his room and dragged me to the bed. I laughed loudly as he climbed on top of me and started to kiss me.

"What time is he coming?" Kendra asked, looking through my closet.

"5?" I guessed, finishing the last of my makeup. Kendra nodded and continued to look through my closet.

My nerves were through the roof as I got ready to meet David's mom. We were having dinner there and driving back later.

"Ooh! Wear this!" Kendra said pulling out a white dress. I had bought the dress with my mom last year but only wore it once to church when we went with my grandpa. I smiled and took the dress from her hands, quickly changing into it.

The dress still fit perfectly and I loved it just as much as when I bought it. The dress flowed down to right above my knees. It had a think black belt across the waist and it fitted my small curves wonderfully.

I did a little spin in front of my body mirror and smiled at Kendra. She nodded in approval before holding up two pairs of shoes; white flats, or black heels.

Flats were safe, I knew I wouldn't fall on my face- okay well maybe I would either way.

Heels were gorgeous, and made you look taller, and more sophisticated.

I went with the heels, feeling that they would make me appear older in front of David's mom.

Just as Kendra finished the last touch up on my curls the doorbell rang. I walked down stairs to see dad talking with David by the door. I almost laughed at how close they'd gotten.

"Wow." David said with a smile. "You look beautiful." I smiled back and kissed both my dad and Kendra on the cheek before walking out of the house.

David held my hand the whole way up to his moms; which was only a forty minute drive.

I was practically shaking with nerves as we pulled into the long round driveway. David had informed me that his mother was a doctor, and he had a fifteen year old sister. Yeah, that wouldn't be awkward.

David held the car door open for me and I slowly stepped onto the stoned driveway. I stared at the house in awe, it was way different than mine or David's, and it was way bigger than my grandmas. That was saying something.

I'm going to puke.

"David I can't do this." I said quickly. "There's no way I'll fit in here..." I backed up, as if backing away would somehow help me breath better.

David grabbed my shoulders and stared into my eyes.

"You can do this, Madilyn. I'm right beside you." He pecked my forehead and I relaxed slightly.

"If I see a butler I'm running." I said in a serious tone and he laughed, grabbing my hand and walking up to the large arch door.

David stepped into the house, while my hand tightened around his.

"Mom?" David yelled into the silent house. I jaw nearly dropped. Two wide stair cases were the first things seen as I walked into the house. There was an elegant red rug, and a chandelier bigger than my room hanging from the ceiling. To the right was a large living room and the left a large dining room.

"Davey?" A soft voice questioned. David turned to the top of the stairs where a girl with straight sandy blonde hair was standing. Her eyes widened when she looked at David and she began running down the stairs to get to him. David released my hand and scooped her in a big hug. The girl squealed loudly and wrapped her arms around David's neck.

"Della!" He yelled, squeezing her tightly. She smiled widely when he put her back onto the ground. When she finally noticed me her green eyes widened once more.

"You must be Madilyn." She smiled, coming to hug me. I hugged her back- very awkwardly- and nodded.

"That'd be me, but please call me Madi." I smiled and she nodded at me, looking back at David.

"Della what is all the screaming about?" A voice yelled. "You'd think we lived in a zoo." A beautiful woman came from the dining room area; and when I say beautiful, I mean drop dead gorgeous. She was wearing a long-sleeved red dress that flowed to her feet and her blonde hair was in a perfectly elegant bun on top of her head.

She looked like a queen.

She smiled at David and clasped her hands together.

"David, honey." She wrapped him in a soft hug. "You look so handsome."  He smiled back at his mother and her eyes landed on me.

Her eyes were no longer welcoming and happy, they were criticizing and unsure.

"H- hello." I stuttered. Why was I so nervous?

Oh yeah, because his mom is a freaking goddess. That would've been nice information to know before hand.

"You must be Madilyn." She said, but unlike Della, her tone wasn't as inviting. I slowly nodded my head and her eyes raked my body for a second before she watched my face.

"Dinner is almost ready." Her whole attitude changed as she smiled lovingly at her son. "I'll leave you to freshen up, we'll meet in the dining room in ten minutes." David nodded and kissed her cheek before grabbing my hand and leading me up the stairs.
