I scribbled away in my notebook while David explained to the kids what we'd be doing for the competition. He had already explained what songs Kendra and I were singing so neither of us payed much attention.
As ironic as it was we were singing this love by maroon five. Kendra laughed so hard when he told us, of course he didn't understand why.
"After the competition I was thinking-" David started.
"Aw, look at you teaching." An all too familiar voice rang through the classroom. My blood boiled. What is she doing here?
I realized she didn't know I was David's student and hid my face, making Kendra do the same.
"Sarah." David said, clearing his throat. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, your mother told me where you worked and I figured I'd drop in for a visit." I heard the clasping of hands together.
"Well I'm a little busy, as you can see." He said. I smirked to myself and continued to doodle in my notebook.
"Oh." She said, obviously scanning the class.
Have you ever felt someone staring at you? Like their was a burning feeling right where they were staring and you just had to look up.
So I did.
And she gasped, before her highly made up face contorted into a wicked grin.
"Okay then. I'll just see you later, David." Her wicked smile never left her face and Davids horror stricken face matched my own, but I was sure mine was worse.

"So how's my baby doin?" I asked Kendra, sitting down on the guys couch. Danny and Kendra had skipped school to go to a check up appointment for the baby.
"Wonderful!" Kendra smiled brightly. "We find out the sex in two months!"
I smiled back at her and put a hand on her small belly.
"Hi baby! It's aunt Madi!" Nothing happened, not that I expected anything too. Baby's don't start kicking until at least five or six months and Kendra is only four.
"I'm home." David said, coming into the house. Kendra rolled her eyes.
"No one cares." I laughed at the funny face he gave Kendra and we went back to our conversation. She pulled a little folder from her purse and showed me the ultrasound pictures.
I smiled at them. It was so cute, the baby was just a little Blob right now.
"Bob the blob!" I said with a laugh. Kendra rolled her eyes.
"You're not naming my baby Bob." She said. I pouted.
"Why not?" I whined.
"Because we're not naming our baby Bob." She said seriously. "I don't like that name."
"Well." I started. "I'm calling it Bob." I crossed my arms defiantly.
"I'm taking this." David's voice rang through the living room and I before I knew it I was being carried back to our room.
His room, I mean.
"Use protection!" Kendra yelled as the door closed and my face went bright red. David dropped me on the bed and moved to hover over me.
David placed a long kiss on my lips and I smiled like an idiot.
"I love you." I wrapped my arms around his neck and sighed.
He smiled down at me. "I love you too."
"Only one more month." I said, then after thinking about it I spoke again. "Maybe we should wait longer."
"What?" David sat up quickly.
"Maybe we should hide it for a little longer." I repeated, sitting up to look at him.
"Why would we do that? We've already waited for so long. I don't want to keep this a secret anymore, Madilyn."
"David calm down, okay? Just hear me out." David nodded slowly and waited for me to continue. "If we just come out with our relationship after graduation people will know it hasn't just started, whereas if we wait until summer we could act as if we ran into each other and just got together. You could still get in trouble if we don't wait." I finished and stared at him, awaiting his reaction. I was scared, he hadn't said anything and I was becoming worried that he wouldn't agree.
"I'm not doing that." He snapped. "I've waited ten months to tell people about you. I refuse to wait three more." He said, standing up.
"David..." I started slowly, standing up as well.
"No. It's not happening. I will find a new job if I have too. I'm done hiding you from people."
"You don't have a choice." My voice, and patience was rising. He just didn't understand. This was for his own good.
"I think I do. I have as much a say in this as you do."
"You're right. You do." I said calmly. "But if we don't wait, you will lose your job, maybe even go to jail. I was a minor when we got together. I can't let that happen to you."
"Madilyn, I love you, but I'm sorry I'm not hiding you anymore after your graduation. I can't."
I sighed. We weren't getting anywhere.
"David please." I sighed.
David stared at me for a moment.
"I'm going out." He walked out of the room, slipped on his shoes, and left the house. I followed him to the sidewalk and yelled after him.
"Where are you going?" I yelled. "You can't just leave like this!"
"I'll be back later. Don't wait up." His tone was emotionless. He got in his car and pulled out of the driveway.
He left. I couldn't believe it.
I was so confused as to what had just happened. I numbly made my way back into the house, shutting and leaning against the front door.
He left.

So Many Reasons
Romance"You're overthinking. I see those gears turning in that pretty little head of yours." I laughed at him and sighed. "There's so many reasons we can't be together, David." He nodded. "I know, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes." "Okay." I said...
