We absolutely nailed the competition. Kendra couldn't perform because of the growing baby, but she didn't mind. My partner and I took over, absolutely dominating!

We had gotten second place, which was still just as amazing as first.

After the competition David and Danny came back to our house to celebrate with my parents.

It was a school night though, so David and Danny had to leave around nine.

"Two more weeks." David said, resting his hand on my cheek. I was leaning against his car, saying goodbye.

I nodded, leaning up to kiss him. "Two more weeks." I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck in a tight hug.

"I'll see you in the morning." He whispered, kissing me once more before getting in the car with Danny. I walked into the house with a smile on my face.

Mom smiled at me and hugged me tightly when I walked in.

"You're growing up." She said softly, a tear falling from her cheek. I nodded my head and kissed her cheek. "Two more weeks and you'll be graduating." She smiled sadly.

"Don't cry, mama." I said, wiping another tear from under her eye. "I'm always gonna be your baby girl." I hugged her and rested my head on her shoulder.

"We're very proud of you, angel." Dads voice rang through the kitchen. He joined in our hug.

With that little family moment I went to bed happily.

"Ms. Taylor, very nice to see you." Principal Jones greeted as I sat in one of his office chairs. I had been called to the office, my guess was to be congratulated on the competition.

"Hello, Mr. Jones." I smiled. The door swung open and David walked in.

"D- Mr. Parker?" I questioned, then my eyes widened.

Oh no.

"Have a seat, Mr. Parker." The principal said. David nodded, sitting down slowly.

Mr. Jones placed three pictures on his desk, in front of us.

"Would either of you care to explain these?"

One picture was of me and David in his classroom, laughing while I sat on his desk. Another was of him and I outside of my house, kissing. The third was of me and him hugging in his house.

It didn't take a genius to figure out who took these.

Sarah.

"Oh no." I whispered, sinking back into my chair.

David looked like he would throw up any second.

"Mr. Jones, we can explain." David said urgently. Mr. Jones rose an eyebrow.

"Look, I like the both of you but this is very much against school policy." He said sternly.

A tear left my eye. "Mr. Jones please don't fire Dav- Mr. Parker. I'm eighteen and no one in the school knows."

Mr. Jones stared at me.

"Ms. Taylor do you truly believe that you love this man?" He finally asked. I nodded quickly.

"More than anything." I said truthfully.

"Well, You only have a week left so no punishment will be made. However, Mr. Parker you will not be teaching here next year. You both may finish out the year."

Relief flooded through me, but then I realized what he said. David couldn't teach anymore.

"Wait-"

"Thank you, Mr. Jones." David pulled me from my chair and lead me from the office.

"Why would you do that?" I whisper yelled as he pulled us out of the office and into the empty corridor. "You won't be able to teach anymore!"

"I know, but there are other jobs out there for me." He said softly, caressing my cheek.

"David-"

"No." He said sternly. "Don't say it. This isn't your fault or mine, I can find another job, Madilyn."

I knew I wouldn't win this argument so I sighed, wrapping my arms around him. I knew this was risky but I didn't care at the moment, I needed to be in his arms.

"I love you, David." I whispered.

"I love you, Madilyn."
