"Alright guys, we've worked very hard for this moment. We can do this!" David said, trying to pump up the group. Truthfully, it was only the young ones who were worried. The rest of us were excited.

All of the girls were wearing silver, strapless, dresses that came to their knees with black flats. The guys were in silver dress shirts and black pants. Kendra, me, and a few other senior girls had curled everyone of the girls hair.

Kendra and I, being captains, were wearing the opposite of everyone else. We had black, strapless, dresses with silver flats and curled hair. We all looked nice, I thought.

David looked especially nice. He was in a black dress shirt with kakis. Honestly, he was so hot it was hard to keep to myself.

The freshman and sophomores went out first, starting their song.

Never be alone played through the speakers and the kids starting singing, dancing around the stage.

As the song came to an end, Kendra went to the opposite side of the stage, along with her partner. They stayed backstage until the last freshman walked off, and our music started up.

I turned to look at David and he smiled at me, sending me a thumbs up. I nodded and smiled back.

Kendra and her partner were on first.

"I never knew, I never knew that everything was falling through..." Kendra started, beautifully.

"That everyone I knew was waiting on a cue, To turn and run when all I needed was the truth..." Her partner, Seth, sang.

"But that's how it's got to be, It's coming down to nothing more than apathy, I'd rather run the other way than stay and see, The smoke and who's still standing when it clears....

"Everyone knows I'm in, Over my head, Over my head, With eight seconds left in overtime, She's on your mind, She's on your mind..." They sang the chorus and it was my partner and I's turn.

"Let's rearrange, I wish you were a stranger I could disengage..." I sang, smiling as the crowd applauded.

"Just say that we agree and then never change, Soften a bit until we all just get along..."

"But that's disregard, Find another friend and you discard..."

"As you lose the argument in a cable car, Hanging above as the canyon comes between..."

We continued the song until the end, when the crowd went crazy. We went backstage and everyone was hugging, laughing, and smiling.

By the end of the night they had announced the winners, we were in second place, meaning we get to go to finals!

Kendra and I were ecstatic. I had never been so happy, well maybe a few times with David, but you understand.

"Pizzas on me!" David shouted with a smile. We smiled back and everyone loaded on the bus, ready to stuff our faces.

Some girls and guys had changed into regular clothes but Kendra and I stayed in our uniforms, too happy to change.
David sat next to me on one side and Kendra on the other. We had ordered three large pizzas, each of them half pepperoni, half cheese, and drinks for everyone.

Every body was talking and laughing and stuffing their faces.

I froze when I felt a hand on my leg. David smirked at my reaction and I relaxed.

That was until his hand started moving up. Oh no.

His hand rested on the inside of my leg, so close to the no-no zone.

Holy snitchel.

I felt my cheeks go red and I was burning up. I really should have worn longer spanks.

I stood up quickly, causing everyone to look at me and David to smirk into a piece of pizza. Kendra chuckled, already guessing what happened. I shook my head and excused myself outside. I needed some fresh air.

I stood outside for a minute, to calm myself down. I didn't think that feeling was possible.

I was about to walk back inside when David walked out with a cocky smirk.

"Hey." He smiled. I narrowed my Wes at him and crossed my arms.

"That wasn't nice." I said.

"I know." He laughed, grabbing my waist and pulling me closer. "But it was funny." He pecked my lips and I giggled, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"What if someone walks out?" I suddenly asked, removing my hands. He put them back and kissed me again.

"Kendra is watching them." He murmured against my lips. I smiled into the kiss and started to gently run my finger through his hair.

"You staying with me tonight?" He asked and I nodded.

"Kendra too." I said. He chuckled and pushed a curl behind my ear.

"Got your earplugs?"

I laughed and shook my head.

"No, but I brought my speakers so maybe we can tune them out."

His face wrinkled in disgust at the memory of the last time Kendra and I stayed with the guys.

It was pretty bad.

"Who knows, maybe we'll be as bad as they are." He said huskily and I blushed.

"N-no!" I said, not being able to speak.

He laughed and kissed my nose.

"I love you." He said and I smiled at him.

"I love you too."
