First Almost Break Up- Darry

You have been so sad lately, you found out that your moms in the hospital and didn't really want to talk a lot.

Darry of course did not catch on to your feelings.

You opened the door to the Curtis home and weakly waved to everyone.
"You alright (Y/NN)?" Asked Ponyboy.

"Yeah i just want to sleep." You said as you walked down the hall to Darry's room. The lights were on, he was usually knocked out because of how much energy work takes out of him.

You opened the white door to see him sitting on the bed looking pissed. You immediately closed the door, "whats wrong?" You asked.

"I...ive been thinking." He said, forming a frown. Your heart began to speed up, already knowing that none of this will turn out good.

"Yes baby." You responded quietly.
"I think we need a break, before you saying anything... You've been quiet and-" he stopped when he saw the tears going down your face.

He ran his hand through his greaser hair and awkwardly looked down.

"My mom is in the hospital and i didn't want to bother you." You said.

Darry suddenly got up and hugged me.
"(y/n) im sorry baby i just thought you didn't want me, probably findin some soc or somethin." He said while stroking your back.

You sniffled.
"Its alright Darry." You whispered into his chest.

He pulled back and lifted my chin.
"Turn that frown upside down i wouldn't want a beautiful girl like you bein sad all the time." He said then proceed to shower you with love.
