I got a message from Paul. He said, Mr. Tanchingco will investigate me and my sisters. That's ridiculous. Gusto nya malaman kung ano daw connection namin with Jade. And he said, or a hunch na baka daw napapagaya na sa amin si Jade. I mean, no not "namin" word, napapagaya kay Batchi. Batchi used to wear men's clothes, very masculine.

"Althea?" Batchi called out my name. I raised my eyebrows.

"Naalala mo yung babaeng niligtas mo sa pagmamalupit ng mga Tanchingco?" She asked. I tilt my head little, iniisip ko ang sinasabi nya.

"May nasave ako?" I asked back. She nods. "Remember Magracia?"

Magracia...

"Have you met Jade's grandfather? Si Angkong nya?" Tanong na naman ni Batchi. Ito iniisip ko pa lang yung Magracia tapos may Angkong pa.

"Okay, Batchi. Get to the point. What's with the two?" Naiirita kong tanong kay Batchi.

"Si Magracia yung babaeng, niligtas mo mula sa mga Tanchingco. Sya yung minaltrato at tangkang halayin ng Angkong ni Jade"

I blink my eyes twice. I'm not thinking straight right now. "Batchi, I'm not thinking straight right now. What's with her? I don't think she could help us?" kibit balikat na sabi ko. Magracia is a threat.

"She's old na rin para hanapin pa yan sya" I added. Mag-iisip na nga lang tong si Batchi ng kung sino ang tutulong sa amin, yun pang isang matanda na pinagbantaan kami noon.

"Magracia knows you're still alive." Sabi ni Batchi. "Eh anong pake nya kung buhay pa ako?" Irita kong sagot.

"After the disagreement between you and Magracia, sabi nya hindi sya titigil hanggat hindi ka nya mahanap. And she will use you para patayin ang mga Tanchingco."

"And? Ano point mo Batchi? Do you think Magracia will help us to destroy the Tanchingco's? Have you thought that many times. They are still Jade's family. Lalaban tayo ng patas." I stated. Naiiling ako na iniwan sya. I know what's on her mind. Lalapit ng tulong kay Magracia.

Our father is heading at our office. I decided to follow him with Wila. Batchi on the other side, went to her lover, Abby.

Hindi rin naman kami nag tagal sa opisina. I manage to get home early. I knew someone is following me. It was not Isabela, but Oscar's men. Hindi ko na lang pinansin since, I'm not really in the mood. Yet, I could still sense they are following me hanggang sa umikot ako sa condo. Hindi ako pumasok pero I decided to park may car and bumaba.

I knock on their windows which is nagulat sila.

"What do you want from me?" I asked the driver. They didn't answer instead nakatingin lang sila.

"Kung may kailangan kayo, wag nyo ko sundan. Sabihin nyo sa amo nyo, lumapit sakin kung may kailangan. Careful kung sino sinusundan nyo, baka mas mapahamak kayong dalawa" sabi ko before leaving them. Sumakay muli ako sa sasakyan and move away.

Ang dami na nga problema nakikisawsaw pa 'tong uto uto na mga 'to.

I look at my rear mirror and use my vampire vision even my vampire hearing. Yup, I'm right, they are Oscar Tanchingco's men. Ugh.
