"OMG!"
"Here he comes!"
"Is my face okay?"
"Omg how do I look?"
"Hi, Daniel!"
That's all I hear. Keep in my mind my earphones are in full blast. I rolled my eyes and focused my sight down my book.
It became extremely quiet. I just let it go and tried to focus but the noise got closer and closer. I finally looked up to my surprise.
DJ sat next to me. It was lunch time and so of course every possible screams haunted the school grounds once again. All because of this tall lean lad sitting next to me.
It's weird because he doesn't even try. It's the little gesture that he does that makes these girls even gays become so ballistic. It's completely ridiculous.
Effortlessly charming.
I looked at him with a confused look. He chuckled and handed me an apple.
"What am I supposed to do with this?"
"I don't know Kath, it's not like you have a mouth. Or teeth or--" he sassed.
"Okay, thanks I get it." I rolled my eyes which caused him to laugh.
I looked around and I felt uneasy because we were surrounded by a wall of girls. Creepy.
I'm also going deaf. That's never okay.
I leaned closer to DJ because I was going to ask if he ever feels uncomfortable about all these girls following him around.
But all of a sudden a girl shouted at me.
"HEY DON'T EVER GET NEAR HIM, KATHRY OR ELSE YOU'LL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY!!"
Really. It was none other than Sofia.
I stood up because I honestly can't take this girl.
"You don't scare me, Sofia." I said blankly.
"You should be. Just back away from him or else." She threatened me. As if.
"I should be scared but not because of you, but because there's no hope for you."
Everyone became quiet. I looked at DJ who was peacefully eating his lunch. You can tell he was enjoying the scene because his mouth was trying to hide a smile.
"What did you say? How dare you speak to me like that? You're nobody." She scoffed at me. I swear she's like a chihuahua continuously barking. So annoying.
"Obviously someone should talk to you like this. You just seek attention and not only that, you think you're better than everyone else."
"You--" She was about to speak when I interrupted her again.
"I'm not finished yet, I would rather be a real nobody. Then a fake somebody." I rolled my eyes and was about to walk away.
I was then stopped when she grabbed my hair and yanked me down.
"AHH!" I screamed in pain.
The whole cafeteria is now tuned in to what was happening. How do they like their lunch time entertainment? Must be relaxing huh?
That's the problem with today, they obviously see someone getting bullied but don't do anything to prevent any more violence. Instead they just stand there and whoo for those they favor. Savages.
"What did you say bitch?" She was furious. The type of angry where steam comes out of the ears and nose.
But I'm not one to back down. I stood up, and fixed myself. I remained calm and held myself from tearing her limbs apart. I didn't want to be ruthless. At least not today.
