How do you guys like the new cover? Haha, I love that picture so much!
Anyways..... Here's the chapter:
—————
"Kathkath, Ronnie's here!" I heard Yaya Sophy yell at me.
"Coming, Nay!" I yelled back.
I was doing my last touch ups on my eyeliner.
It's Monday today..
Another week of school.
Last week was argumentatively the worst week.
Why so? Well because I have been trying my best to stay away from DJ.
I can't bear to know that he's with another girl instead of me, but probably seeing it will just kill me inside.
I looked at myself in the mirror to see if the outfit I chose was a good enough outfit to wear.
I was wearing black distressed, fitted skinnies with and a loose white t shirt over a bralette. I also had on my classic chucks on. I halved my hair into two sections: upper and lower and the upper section of my hair was in two little space buns while the lower half has just the right amount of hair flowing straight my back.
Eh, it's pretty basic but it's not like I'm going somewhere to show off and impress. Who am I going to impress? My teachers? The Bees? Yeah, no thanks I'll just leave this on.
I gathered my school belongings and rushed down.
R2 was sitting on the couch watching the news with Yaya Sophy and Yaya Glenda while eating an apple.
"Here comes Cinderella." Nanay Sophy claimed as she looked up at me as I went down the stairs.
"Good morning to you too, my beautiful fairy godmother." I smiled and kissed her forehead.
Nanay Glenda cleared her throat.
I laughed at her reaction.
"And to you as well my beautiful other fairy god mother." I kissed her forehead as well.
"Baby girl, stop growing up please. I miss the old little Kathryn wearing sundresses. Now look at you, even more precious and mature." Nanay Glenda was crying out loud.
I chuckled.
"Nay, I'm barely in high school. Tell me this when you see me walk the aisle." I laughed because after I said that, their reaction was hysterical.
"Treasure your youth, child. It will be taken from you within a blink of an eye." Nay Glenda laughed.
"Don't worry, tomorrow I'll wear a sundress just for you." I winked at the both of them.
"Good morning, sunshine." I heard R2 from behind me.
"It was a good morning, until I saw your face." I grabbed an apple, waved at my Nanay's and ran out the door before he could even open his mouth to reply.
I waited in his car.
I was patiently waiting because I'm pretty sure this boy is still eating while chatting with my Yayas.
I turned the radio on and jammed out.
For some reason I looked up, and there he was.
