And if you think
That I'm still holding on
To something, you should go and
Love yourself.

I was listening to music with my book covering my face.

I hate associating with people. Specially people in my age. Trust me, I know how teenagers are. So in other words, I hate my kind of people. Except me, I'm pretty radical.

"Bes!" Julia screamed. This girl is literally a foot away, why must she scream causing every eyes to look at us?

It's currently lunch time. I'm at my usual lunch table leaning against the wall with both of my feet resting on the table.

I sighed deeply. Even though my earphones were blasting I still heard the call of the banshee.

I rolled my eyes and sat up straight.

"Bes, I'm right here. I'm not across the world. I think it's totally fine for you to come up to me normally and maybe even quietly." I rolled my eyes once more.

"Whatever. Not even your sass can put my mood down." She joyfully squealed.

Sas. That's pretty funny.

"You should smile more often." Miles unexpectedly said. When did she get here?

"Oh hey miles." I greeted her as I snatched her juice box from her tray.

Did I mention how much I love juice boxes? Well I do.

"Oh by the way, why are you such in a happy mood? Are you finally with Diego?" I smirked at Julia.

"No, but I will with Daniel." She returned the smile.

My smirked turned up side down, all I could do was roll my eyes at her.

"It's okay, Bes. I know he's yours. Off limits." Julia kept going.

"You talk too much. Just tell us why you're jittery than you usually are." I rolled my eyes once more.

"Yeah, Julia why are you so hyped right now?" Miles asked as well.

"Volleyball tryouts are today, did you two forget?!" Julia looked like a child who just dropped her lollipop on the ground and noticed she couldn't do anything about it.

I tried holding my laugh in. Miles, on the other hand couldn't handle it so she laughed out loud.

That caused all three of us to laugh.

"You guys should just end it before you start. It's not like you're better than us." We heard what sounded like a mouse.

Of course, the biggest rat of all; Liza.

"Better than you? Please, you three are afraid of flying balls. Notice how I said flying balls, because we all know that you three love balls.. Right?" Miles bit her finger as if she was trying to act cute and was teasing them.

"Why you little—" Sophia said.

"Save it." Liza stopped her friend from starting our World War IV.

She walked towards us.

"Let's see about that on the court. Bunch of wannabes." Liza laughed.
