~Day 2~
I was awakened by the most displeasing sound I had ever heard in my life...a school bell ringing for a straight 20 seconds around the entire camp at 6 A.M. sharp.
"Up soldiers up! Big day ahead of us!" Major Payne yelled as he walked up and down the aisle of the bunks, already dressed and ready to go. We all groaned and stood up, walking to the end of our beds, rubbing our eyes waiting for our next direction. Once everyone was up and at the end of their bed he walked to the opposite end of the aisle and faced us.
"You have 10 minutes to change into your uniform and meet outside in the courtyard for the morning drill." He commanded as he left the bunk room and proceeded down the hall and outside.
I quickly turned around and grabbed my uniform before trudging into Payne's office and towards his toilet. Realizing I would only get 10 minutes to change every morning I made the decision I would need to take my showers before bed.
I changed out of my sleepwear, brushed my teeth, and pulled my hair up into a ponytail only to walk out and find Major Payne slipping into a white t-shirt. Before he could pull it on all the way I got a good look at his abs making my eyes go wide as he pulled it over his head and looked at me.
"Whoops sorry Woods! It's hot outside you won't be needing your jacket!" He chuckled as he walked out of the office, me following. He locked his office before slipping the key chain around his neck and following me outside into the courtyard. Once we got outside we found no one was there.
"Damn boys think they can take forever in the morning." He grumbled to himself as he went to the side of the building and began banging his fist on a door which I assumed led directly to the locker room.
"C'mon C'mon! If you can't take a damn shower in under five minutes you can't take one in the morning! Hurry up! Woods got ready faster than you lot!" He yelled as he walked back over to me, clipboard in hand.
"You can leave early to breakfast when I make the boys run a mile since you're the only one ready on time." He said as he scratched something down on his clipboard.
"Oh really you don't need to-" I started but stopped with a hard glare from him.
"Want an offense for not listening to my order?" He asked looking me directly in the eyes. I shook my head slowly not able to tell if he was joking or not.
"Then you'll leave early for breakfast. Now go line up over there and start stretching." He said as he pointed to his right and looked back down at his clipboard.
"Yes sir." I said quietly and quite shocked as I walked all the way down the outside of the building and began stretching. Just as I was bending over to my toes all the boys came hollering out of their locker room with their full uniforms on. Once they realized it was hot they began huffing and throwing their jackets next to the building in a giant heap.
"Hey! Tidiness is apart of your grade for passing! I suggest if you want to-" Major Payne started yelling as some of the boys looked over at me and began cat calling towards me stretching. I rolled my eyes as Payne snapped his eyes over to me then back to the boys.
"Line up in alphabetical order right now! I told you, you were going to treat Woods the same way as the rest of your peers so unless you want to cat call to all the boys in here then I suggest you start stretching!" He yelled as the boys lined up still snickering. Louis and Harry came over towards me in the line and wiggled their eyebrows before bending down themselves to stretch making me smirk.
"Since you lot have been extremely disruptive this morning you're going to run a mile. If you don't do it in under eight minutes you'll be late to breakfast. Clear?" He asked as he walked up and down the line.
