~Day 47~
"Hey Cameron! Over here!" Louis called, waving me over towards him and Harry in the cafeteria. I had just gotten my breakfast and was heading towards Payne's table to sit next to Mitchell, Zayn, and him when I heard my name be called.

Louis looked at me funny when I stopped in my tracks to look between the two tables, but seeing that the three were occupied with something already, I made my way towards my caller.

"Gee, I thought you would never make it over here." Louis huffed from across the table as I sat down next to Harry.

"Sorry, I needed to see if Mitchell needed my help with planning anything." I replied picking up my cornbread muffin and taking a bite.

"Mitchell? Who's Mitchell?" Harry asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Oh, he's a friend in Malik's department, we met during the fast flyers program." I said, watching Louis drop his fork.

"Harry! We're being replaced!" He gasped making me glare at him.

"No you're not-"

"Yes-yes! She's finding new friends! She's leaving us out to dry while she goes off with the smarter students!" He exclaimed making Harry roll his eyes.

"Well maybe if you didn't act like a four year old she'd stick around longer." Harry grumbled, making me smirk as I elbowed his arm.

"He's right. Maybe I'll just invite Harry to sit at the other table and leave you here because you can't handle my new smart friends." I said smugly watching as Louis shut his mouth.

"Fine, leave for all I care. I'll sit here by myself in pure peace and quietness." He scoffed, as we all went back to eating.

I was shaking my head at him a few minutes later, reminiscing our conversation, when I heard the morning bell go off signaling it was time for me to fly.

"Bye soldiers, see you later tonight." I said as I stood up, bringing my tray with me.

"Oi, you're not helping teach us today?" Harry asked looking up at me.

"No, I'm helping fly today. So I'll get to fly along side you guys next week when it's your turn." I said as I walked over to the trash can, dumped my tray and began my walk outside to the jet shed.

Having only 24 jets, one for each district, each day was designated to one district so every student would have a chance to fly. This week, the squadron leaders had all been flying, so the Fast Flyers were teaching the instruction classes. Now, since about 10 districts had already flown, it was our time to fly so the majors could go back to teaching.

"Hey, Cameron!" Someone called right as I was entering the shed. I looked behind me to see Mitchell jogging towards me.

"Hey!" I replied as I held the door open for him. "Excited to fly as an instructor instead of a student?" I asked, walking towards the back of the shed by the gear.

"Yeah! Instructing 23 students every day this week was really getting to me. I don't think I could do this permanently." He said making me chuckle.

We proceeded to get dressed and watched as the soldiers filed in, coming in the back to get dressed and walk to their designated jet. I was standing by my jet, waiting for my student to arrive when an employed base officer came jogging back towards me.

"Cameron Woods?!" He questioned making me pull my helmet off and nod my head.

"I have strict instructions from Chief Air Marshal Tom Peterson that you must go to his office immediately and under all circumstances cannot fly today." He explained making my mouth gape wide open.
