~Two Weeks Later~
"Hey Cameron?!" My dad yelled from upstairs as I cleaned the kitchen."Yeah dad?!" I yelled back up, hearing a groan from my brothers' room.
"One second!" He yelled again making my brother stand up and slam his door shut. Being only seven in the morning, school was out, and he still wasn't ready to get up any earlier than nine.
I continued scrubbing the countertops to clean up the mess I had just created while making my father lunch.
"Ok, I'm here now." My dad said as he walked into the kitchen, throwing his work vest where I had just cleaned making me scowl. "I need you to do some things for me today." He said as he scrambled around all of the cupboards in the kitchen looking for food.
"You mean besides vacuuming, cleaning, doing the dishes, and the washing?" I asked as I leant up against the countertop, watching as he pulled a pop tart out of the box and returned it to the cupboard not even bothering to close it.
"I need you to take the boys to their football practices and make sure they eat lunch and dinner." He said as I walked over to the cupboard and shut the pop tart box.
"You know, this is the messiest the house has ever been my entire life, and if it gets this bad in just five weeks, then I can't even imagine what it's going to look like after I come home from duty." I ranted as he chuckled and the sandwich I made him off the counter, walking to the door and opening it.
"You're not leaving for a year!"
"Actually-"
"Have a good day!" He yelled as he slammed the door shut, walking out to this truck and pulling out of the driveway. I watched him drive away, shaking my head, before eventually cleaning the rest of the countertops and going to my brothers' room to wake them up.
"Rise and shine you dollops!" I cheered as they both rolled over and groaned.
"Go away Cameron, it's summer."
"And you have football practice! Now get up before I push you out of bed." I said as I walked towards James's bed and shook his shoulder.
"Five more minutes." Henry grumbled from across the room making me roll my eyes.
"Fine, I'll leave." I said, complying to their requests. But before they could fall back asleep, I ran back in slamming pots and pans against each other.
"Reporting for duty day 1!" I yelled as I pulled the blankets off each of them. "If you do not wake up when told, you will be woken up at 6:30 for the rest of the summer!" I yelled as I hit the pans against each other once more as they finally sat up in bed.
"Alright I'm up. Gimme a break with the pans." Henry groaned as he rubbed his eyes. James, still laid there refusing to get up.
"Hmm, well I guess I'll just have to tell dad that James isn't being responsible enough at waking up so he shouldn't be able to drive next year because he'll never get to school on time." I said as his eyes flew open and he sat up.
"Don't you dare take that away from me! That'll be the only way I'll ever get out of this bloody house!" He threatened making me smirk.
"Yeah well if neither of you get dressed we won't get out today and we'll be late to your practice!" I exclaimed as I shut their door and walked back out to make them breakfast.
A few minutes later, they were dressed and we were heading out the door to their practice.

"Hey dad, how was work?" I asked my father as he entered the house around seven at night looking completely exhausted.
