A Tornado Meets A Volcano

"Hey hey! You assholes home?" James yells as he opens the door.

"Where else would we be?" Bret calls.

I'm sitting on the kitchen counter braiding my hair for the rugby game. Jamie comes into the kitchen sporting the exact same look that I am; rugby uniforms and hair braided tight to our skulls.

"Hey Bee." Jamie says as she sits on the counter beside me.

"Hey Jam." I say as I tie the hair elastic around the end of my hair. "Are Jilly and Ash meeting us here or the pitch?"

"They're meeting you here!" CC yells from the bathroom where he's doing his hair. "Ashy said that last night. Jesus Bee, try to keep up!"

"Bee what did you do with our drummer?" Bobby wonders.

"I'm right here!" Rikki calls as he closes the door.

"I thought Bee killed you." Bret admits.

"She wouldn't do that." My boyfriend says as he walks into the kitchen. "Would you?" Rikki asks and kisses my forehead.

"Nope." I say and James laughs.

"Bullshit." He says. "Bianca you're insane."

"Am not." I cross my arms and Rikki laughs.

The door opens and in walks Jillian and Ashley. They like Jamie and I are dressed for our rugby game. Ashley goes right over to my brother was starts making out with him and I cringe, who'd willingly date my stupid brother? My drummer I guess.

"Hey, did you girls ever realize that your numbers are four, five, six, seven?" Bret ask and we nod.

"Bee and I play locks and Jilly and Ash play flankers. Number correlate with positions in rugby." Jamie explains.

"You're just noticing this?" Jilly asks with a laugh.

"I'm sorry I don't know rugby." Bret says sarcastically and I laugh.

"They're so in love with each other." Rikki mumbles when he kisses my cheek.

"What?" They both say and look back, that causes all of us to laugh.

All of or laughing gets cut short when the phone rings, Bobby who is closer answers it.

"St. Anthony's Public School." He says.

That cause CC to pull away from my drummer and James and I to make eye contact. I look over to my twin.

"I told you they were gonna find out you skipped detention in the eighth grade." I say to him then I turn to James. "Told you Coach Morgan was gonna find out you banged his daughter."

"I told you two that Principal Curtis was gonna find out you left his Catty on block in the parking lot." CC tells James and I.

"You don't drive a Catty to a public school in Brooklyn." James says but Jamie turns to him.

"You banged Penny Morgan?" She asks and James turns white. "When?"

"Before you moved to Brooklyn, I swear." James half pleads.

"Wait who do we know that goes to public school?" CC asks and I roll my eyes.

"Robyn." I remind him.

"Oh shit, right. Gimme the phone." CC says and takes the phone from Bobby.

CC talks on the phone for a few minutes then hangs up. He looks over to me.

"Your niece got suspended." CC tells me.

"Why is she just my niece?" I wonder and he smiles.

"Because she broke some asshole's nose." He says and I laugh.

"Okay I'll agree with you." I laugh and Bobby looks at his watch.

"What time do you girls have to be at the pitch?" He wonders.

"Not until, one thirty." Ashley says.

"Okay you got time." He nods.

"So have you four decided what you're doing?" Bret wonders and we all sake our heads.

"Either way you'll either have horny rock stars to deal with or horny rugby guys in booty shorts." CC laughs.

"We already deal with horny rock stars on a daily bases." Jill adds and we laugh.

"She ain't wrong." Jamie smiles.

"Okay no guys are looking at her in anyway." Rikki says and hugs me kinda tightly. "If they don't I'll kill them."

"Rik, you can't always be there." Bret reminds him.

"Bee you're not going anywhere." My boyfriend tells me and I look at him.

"I'm sorry, what?" I say and jump off the counter.

"Still sure she won't kill ya, Rik?" Bret wonders.

"What makes you think I'm not going?" I wonder. "Do you honestly not trust me?"

"I never said that." Rikki tells me.

"Then what were you trying to say?" I ask. "Do you not want me to go?"

"Yes! Wait no! Repeat the question?" He wonders.

"Do you not want me to do rugby or the record deal?" I ask and his eyes grow.

"I don't know!" Rikki admits. "Yes!"

"So you want me to go?" I ask.

"No!" He says.

"So you want me to stay?" I demand.

"Christ! I don't know, Bianca! Why are you so impossible!" Rikki snaps.

"Because I am!" I yell. "I've gotta go to rugby."

I grab my bag and slam the door behind me. I run out to my car and start to drive.

CC

The door slams with quite a bit of force and we all stare at the door. Rikki watches the door more than any of us, I mean his girlfriend just walked out the door.

"I didn't think you and Bee fought." James speaks up.

"We don't, not a lot." Rikki admits.

"This is pretty serious, Rik." Jamie speaks up. "I've known Bee a long time and it takes quite a bit for her to storm off. Actually the last person she stormed off on was--"

"Alex." Rikki says and she nods. "I can't turn into another Alex." He mumbles and runs his hands through his hair.

In that next second something clicks in James, Jamie, and my head. When Bianca is upset her judgement gets kinda blurred and she makes some, how we say? Not the best decisions. We all meet eyes.

"I'll go check the pitch, you go check the record store." Jamie tells me and I nod.

"Wait, what's going on?" Rikki asks.

"Bee gets dumb when she's mad." James says as we walk out the door.

Bianca

I just went to the pitch, figured I should get ready for the game.

I was thrown on eight for most of the game except for line outs. We won the game so that was exciting. After the game I went to Jamie and James' house just to waste time.

"You've gotta go talk to him." Jamie says and I frown.

"I don't know." I mumble and she hits my forehead.

"Stop that." She tells me "Rikki loves you like crazy."

"Loves me like crazy but doesn't trust me at all." I say and she shakes her head. "Jam, he doesn't even trust me around Bobby and Bret. If it wasn't for the fact that CC was my brother he wouldn't trust me around CC."

"Bianca." Jamie sighs.

"Can I just crash on your couch tonight?" I wonder and she nods.

"Of course, Bee." Jamie sighs. "As long as you talk to Rikki eventually."

"Eventually." I agree.
