Rikki

"CC, I didn't know you had a sister." Bret speaks up the next day at rehearsal.

"Yeah you did. You knew I was a twin and continued to ask me if we had the same sized dick. I assured you that my dick was bigger than my sister's." CC says tuning his guitar.

"Oh right!" Bret yells into the microphone, the noise bouncing off of every wall and into our ears.

"Well how do you know her?" CC wonders.

"We met her at a bar during battle of the bands." Bobby explains. "Maybe three years ago."

"They're band was great and she argued win the singer a lot." I say.

"Yeah, her and Alex can't stand each other. I'm not sure how they worked in a band together for that long." CC admits.

Bret looks over to me and kinda smiles. The only thing that worries me more than Bobby smiling like that is Bret smiling like that. It's the face they have when they get an idea. Their ideas are insane by the way.

"So since we're going to be seeing a lot more of Bianca, what should we know about her?" Bret asks her brother but winks at me.

"I don't know, what do you want to know?" CC wonders, confused.

"What she likes?" Bobby smiles at me. "What she's like? Shit like that."

This is all directed at me if you haven't noticed. For the past twelve hours they've been on my ass about asking out Bianca. I don't think they realize that not only is she CC's little sister, she's  his twin. He will cut me up into little bite sized Rikki pieces and sent me back to my mom. CC is insane and I love him like a brother but Christ he's insane.

"Bianca is really funny." CC has to think of nice things to say about his sister. "The only thing she loves as much as music is rugby. She's great at art, though she doesn't see it. She's very, uh, what's the word, stubborn and hard headed."

"Sounds familiar." Bret smiles and CC flips him off.

"Bianca is a fighter, there's no doubt about it." CC recalls.

"Did she kick your ass?" Bobby wonders and CC laughs.

"I'm not proud of it but yeah. She ran with a bunch of guys growing up. The girls in our school irritated her so much." CC smiles. "She's the smartest dumb person I know. Bianca can tell you anything about anything, she bombs at math though, but then you'll look up and see her walking across the roof of our house trying to balance. She's nuts."

"Sounds familiar again." Bobby smiles as I twirl my sticks between my fingers.

"Bianca is one of those people that either loves with every bit of her heart or hates with every fibre of her soul. All or nothing, black and white, grey and mediocrity don't exist in her mind." CC smiles. "Bigger and better things is what she strives for."

"Explains why she moved out here." Bret figures.

"She's my twin, the only person I'm actually scared of. My other half." CC half smiles. "Why are you so interested in her anyways, it's just Bianca."

"Because we're nice and we want to be friends with her." Booby speaks up, mocking hurt. "We tried to like you, remember?"

"Fair enough." He laughs. "Maybe we should talk about her later and rehearse."

"Yeah, sounds good to me." I finally speak up.

About two weeks has past since we realized that big bad brother was CC. I've found joy in bothering Bianca at work. She'll be sorting records or something and I'd come up behind her and scare the hell out of her. In turn, Bianca would try to beat the hell out of me and I'd run out the store.

The mall is just closing up and I slip into the record store to find it empty. Bianca must be in the back. I duck down behind the counter, to hide from her. I hear footsteps coming out the back room and into the store. I can tell by the humming that's it's definitely Bianca. She has this habit of humming and muttering lyrics to herself.

I recognize the song right way and jump up from behind the desk. She doesn't see me or hear me, I hop up on top of it and sit cross legged. To my surprise, Bianca starts to sing the song.

"And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul.
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold.
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last.
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll.

And she's buying a stairway to heaven."

Bianca sings the last verse to Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven amazingly. Like she could've given Robert Plant a run for his money. She could've easily been the singer for Alpha, Alex was good but I think Bianca is a million times better.

"I didn't know you listened to Led Zeppelin." I call to her and she jumps, dropping the milk crate filled with records to the ground. She turns back and I glares at me.

"Jesus Rikki, you've got to stop doing that." Bianca calls to me and I laugh. She shakes her head and starts to pick up what she dropped.

I jump off the counter and go to help her. I take about half the record from her and go to put them into their rightful homes. To this, Bianca smiles.

"They're gonna hire you shortly." She laughs as she starts to pack away records as well.

"Well yeah, I do like half your job." I smile. "I do it better than you as well." She flips me off.

We place records in silence for a while before  a song comes on the radio. Instantly, Bianca lights up and runs to turn it up. I recognize the song instantly. Don't you Forget About Me by Simple Minds, The Breakfast Club song. The volume is heightened and the bass rattles the fake hold records on the walls.

"I love this song so much." Bianca smiles and goes back to sorting records.

"Yeah, it really goes well with the movie." I say and she looks up at me confused.

"What movie?" She wonders.

"The Breakfast Club." I say shocked and she shakes her head.

"I've never seen it." Bianca admits.

"Really?" I question and she nods.

"I'm not a big movie person." She admits.

"You're going to watch this movie if I have anything to say about it." I tell her and she smiles.

"Whatever floats your boat, Rik." Bianca flashes those blue eyes at me.

It's quiet for a while and the song ends. I guess if I'm going to ask her out, miss the time to do it. There's no big brother around, there's no Bret or Bobby being jackasses, there's no other distractions. I better do it now before I talk myself out of it.

"Hey Bee?" I call and she looks up.

"Yeah?" She answers.

"Do you wanna go out with me?" I question and she lights up.

"Yeah, alright." Bianca says with a smile.

"After we're finished here then?" I wonder and she nods.

"Sounds good to me." Bianca smiles again.

Well that was easy, that was really easy actually.
