Rikki

"Hey are you with CC?" Bret wonders through the phone.

"Uh yeah, he's currently going through my girlfriend's closet." I admit and Bret laughs.

"Why?" He wonders.

"CC is convinced the Bee took his clothing." I say with a laugh. "I'm not going to pretend to understand him."

"We'll get him out of the closet-" he pauses to laugh. "Turn it on channel six."

"Okay why?" I wonder.

"Just trust me." Bret says.

"Okay." I agree once I hang up the phone. "Hey CC! Get your ass down here!" I yell as I walk into the living room.

I turn on the news as he runs downstairs.

"What's wrong?" He wonders as he comes up beside me.

"Bret says we need to watch the news." I point to the tv as it comes back on.

The news comes back on and it displays a bunch of tall white girls playing soccer with little kids in Africa. I instantly recognize four of them as Bianca, Jamie, Ashley, and Jillian. The report's voice then comes through the speakers.

"At an orphanage in Kenya a number of the United States Women's Rugby Team after a very successful tour of Europe came to Kenya to help the orphans." A woman's voice says.

The scene changes to Bianca sitting on her knees in front of a small girl. Bee is smiling happily because she love kids. The little girl touches Bee's blonde hair and smiles.

"She's never seen blonde hair before." The woman behind the little girl says.

"Most of the orphans have been at the orphanage since they were a few months old." The report lady's voice returns. "We caught up with a few of the players after the fact."

The scene changes to Bee, Jamie, Ashley, and Jillian standing with a reporter.

"Why did you four decide to come?" The report asks.

"We wanted to help." Ashley says. "All four of us decided that we couldn't let this opportunity past."

"But there is a million other ways to help, the four of you decided that you wanted to be in the front line, why?" The report wonders.

"Well we're all pretty close to being to being kids--at least mentally--to start with." Jilly laughs. "We like the idea of helping where we can see the results."

"We figured if we were going to represent our country we were going to do it right." Bianca adds with a laugh and I smile.

"It's kinda a culture shock as well." Jamie adds. "Like Bee and I grew up in New York, Jilly in California, and Ash in Alabama. This is something completely foreign to us and we like the new experience."

The scene changes to some rugby girls that I don't really like. So I turn off the tv and CC turns to me. He's smiling like an idiot and shaking his head.

"I can't get over them." CC admits. "I'm proud of them."

"They're really good people, how'd they get mixed up with us?" I ask with a laugh.

"Well I've always been stuck with Bee." He remind me.

"I still can't believe you're twins." I say.

"Oh really?" CC wonders with a laugh. "Bee's pretty as a picture, she's gotta get that from me."

"I'm not having this conversation." I say with a laugh and walk towards the kitchen.

"What's wrong, Rockett? Can't admit how hot I am?" He asks laughing as he follows me.

"I'll tell Bee and Ash that you made out with Bret." I say and he stops.

"I will never live it down from Bee and Ash will never kiss me again."  CC says and I laugh.

"That's the whole point." I say while I sip my beer.

"You're such an ass." CC says and I laugh.

"You know, that's why your little sister loves me." I say and he scowls.

"Okay, I'm going home to call my girlfriend." CC says. "When you talk to Bianca ask her if she's seen my black boots."

"Yeah, I will." I laugh and he walks out the back door.

Bianca

We get to the airport to fly back to LA. Ashley comes up and elbows me.

"How come when I met you and your brother you both had brown hair?" She wonders and I laugh.

"I got tired of that dumb blonde comment and CC decided to copy me." I explain as I load the pay phone with money.

I dial the number to Rikki's house and hope that he's home. It's like six at night in LA and it's seven in the morning here in Kenya. It rings a couple times.

"Hello?" His voice asks and I smile.

"Hey baby." I say.

"Baby girl." Rikki says and I can hear his smile through the phone.

"We just got to the airport in Nairobi." I say.

"How long is the flight again?" He asks.

"About twenty hours. So I'll be in LA in like..." I trail off so I can struggle through doing math in my head. "4am." I sigh.

"Don't sigh like that." Rikki says and I smile. "CC and I will be there. Bret and Bobby will be passed out drunk but we'll be there."

"Baby, I told you that we could take a--"

"A taxi, I know but I haven't seen you in a long as time. I'm going to pick you up." Rikki laughs and I smile.

"I love you." I tell him.

"I love you so much. I can't wait to see you." Rikki laughs. "Did I ever tell you that your brother kissed Bret on a dare?" I laugh.

"No but I'm not surprised." I laugh. "It's CC after all. Shit, I've gotta go. I love you, Rikki."

"I love you, baby girl. I'll see you soon." He says and I hear the phone disconnect.

I hang up the phone and turn to the airport. I've had fun the past few months but I can't wait to go home. I can't wait to see my family and Rikki. Maybe I was a bit homesick.
