Just Hitched

Rikki and I walk out of the little church in Vegas. I can't wipe this smile off my face, I'm married to Rikki. It's not exactly how I pictured getting married, I mean we had to take a number.

Rikki said he didn't care what I wore but I had to wear a dress of some kind. So I basically just borrowed one from Ashley's without telling her before we left (I mean she stole my fucking bra then did the dirty with my twin brother, she owes me). It's black and lace and I actually look alright in it, I mean it's still a dress and I hate it but it's a dress that's better than an all white wedding gown. I wore black leather boots with it and my straight blonde hair hung down my back. Rikki wore dark jeans and black leather jacket over a Zeppelin shirt, he looked perfect. He looked exactly how I pictured him looking when we got married.

His hand gets tighter around mine and I look up at him, Rikki smiles.

"I love you, Bee." He says and I smile.

"That works out well considering what we just did." I laugh. "I love you so much."

"Your brother is going to murder me when we get back." Rikki states and I shake my head.

"I won't let him." I say and he kisses my cheek. "I have to call my coach when we get back to the hotel and get him to send me a new jersey with my new last name on it."

"Not as soon as we get back to the hotel, baby girl." He smirks. "There's something else we've gotta do first. I think it's the law actually."

"What are your parents gonna think of this?" I wonder. "Because my mom is gonna be pissed."

"They'll be fine, I think. I mean when you get back from the World Cup we should probably go to PA to see them. They will want to meet my wife." Rikki explains and I smile when he says my wife.

"Sounds good to me." I say with a smile.

We make it back to the hotel and we get into the elevator. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss his lips gently. Rikki kisses me back and backs me up against the elevator wall. We both know that our stop isn't until the twenty seventh floor, I mean we have time to kill. The door opens on the twenty second floor but we didn't notice until someone cleared their throat. We pull apart to see and elderly man and woman standing beside us. My arms drop from Rikki's shoulders and I take his hand. I can feel his ring against my finger and I smile to myself.

Rikki and I are actually married. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather be married to, he's my whole world. I love him more than the guitar and rugby combined. If Rikki were to ask me to quit rugby (which I don't think he ever will) I would in a heartbeat. I'd do anything for the man that I love.

We get to our floor and Rikki pick me up, I hold onto him tightly.

"Don't fucking drop me, Rockett." I warn and he laughs.

"You weigh like nothing, Bianca." Rikki tells me as we walk. "I won't drop you I promise."

I reach up and kiss his cheek and he smiles. When we do get to the door it's interesting getting it unlocked because Rikki didn't want to put me down. Luckily I have my room key in my boot so we both didn't fall when he tried to get it out of his jeans. We get the door open and he steps inside.

Now I'm not quite sure what happened next but Rikki yelled "Jesus Christ!" And I slipped from his grip and fell on my ass. I look up at him from the floor.

"I said don't drop me, Rockett." I mumble as my eyes scan the room.

Bret and Bobby are sitting at the little fridge, drinking the contents of my mini bar. Jilly, Jamie, Ashley, and James are rounding the little table playing poker. But sitting on the bed glaring at us is my twin brother, CC Deville. Rikki looks at my twin in shock but quickly drops his gaze to me.

"I'm so sorry, baby girl. Are you okay?" He asks as he pulls me up.

"Yeah, I'm okay." I promise him and then turn to my brother. "What the hell are you doing here?"

"You came here to get fucking married and you were going to do it behind my back?" CC  demands. "You're not old enough to get married, Bianca."

"I'm twenty four!" I snap.

"You're still my little sister!" He snaps back.

"By thirteen minutes!" I yell.

"It doesn't matter you're my responsibility." CC says and I make a face.

"I'm an adult and I'm married. You don't need to protect me anymore. You didn't need to protect me to start with." I say.

"Bee you're my only little sister, I promised dad." He says quietly and I look down.

"Don't bring dad into this." I say.

"Why, you were daddy's little girl right?" CC demands. "Tell me sweetheart, what would dad think of this? His little angel running off to Vegas to get hitched to a rockstar!"

CC knows I'm not ready to talk about dad.

"I loved him before the band got big, CC you've known him longer than you have." I state.

"Yeah, making dad proud right? He'd be so proud of his little Bumblebee. Hell Bee, dad's probably rolling over in his grave right now." He says and tears well up in my eyes.

"Stop."

"No Bee, daddy's little angel that can't do no harm just got fucking married in Vegas. Good job, Bianca." CC says.

"Stop."

"Dad wouldn't be proud of you at all Bianca!" He yells.

The tears start to roll down my face and I can see CC instantly regrets saying what he's said. I can feel everyone's eyes on my. I know Rikki is glaring at CC over my head. James, Jilly, Jamie, and Ashley have all looked up from their poker game. Bret and Bobby look over from the fridge.

"Bee, I--"

"Get out." I say.

"CC, come on." Ashley says and I hear the door open. Ashley sounds pissed off.

Jamie and James come over and hug me before they leave but I don't even react. Bobby and Bret hit Rikki in the arm as they walk past.

"Congrats, man." Bret says and the door closes.

So much for the happiest day of my life.

Rikki

Bee hasn't turned around yet but I know she's crying. She hasn't talked about her dad being dead yet and he's been gone for months. Bianca can't being herself to talk about him, she hasn't figured out how to.

"Bianca." I say and she turns around.

Her bright blue eyes are filled with tears and they stream down her face. CC has really hurt her. I hug her as tightly as I can and she covers her eyes with her hands as she cries. I kiss her hair.

"I hate my stupid brother." Bee mumbles.

"Baby, don't say that. You're just mad at him." I say but I'm really not sure.

I know Bee was close with her father so loosing him killed her. The thing is CC knew that as well yet he still brought it up. I know how Bee works and she's going to Alabama in a week with Ashley no matter if she's talking to her brother or not. As for right now, I'm going to calm down my bawling wife and pray that Ashley is beating some sense into my wife's twin brother.
