"Adalyn!"

"Grammy!" Adalyn runs through baggage claim to get to Cheryl. It is the Saturday before Christmas and the family is coming in for the holiday.

"Hi Adalyn."

"Poppy!" She flings herself into his arms.

"I love you."

"I love you too Poppy."

"We have a surprise for you" Paul says.

"Really?!"

"Yes. Come with me. I'll show you." They walk hand in hand towards the belt that will bring in their luggage. They walk up to a man that is facing away from them. Paul taps him on the shoulder and the man turns around with a smile.

"Uncle Clay!" Adalyn lets go of Paul's hand and jumps into Clayton's arms. Clayton wasn't suppose to fly in with them. He was going to fly in tomorrow.

"Hi sweet girl. I missed you."

"I missed you too Uncle Clay."

"Clay! I thought you were coming in tomorrow. What are you doing here?" Meryl asks pulling him into a hug.

"I got off of work. So I thought I'd surprise you all."

"Aw, I love you."

"Love you too Mer. Now where is my 1-month old niece." Clayton goes to the stroller that Maks is standing behind with a smile on his face. "Thanks for keeping my secret Maks" he says shaking Maks' hand and then stares down at Brynlee sleeping in the stroller.

"Wait, you knew he was coming Maks?" Meryl says wrapping her arms around Maks.

"Yes. He wants to make sure it is ok and that everything would be ready."

"I want to say that I hate you for not telling me but I can't"

"I love you Princess."

"Maks, when is your family getting in?" Cheryl asks.

"Late tonight. Jenna and Val are going to get them since they will be staying with them."

"Oh ok."

"Are we ready to go?" Clayton asks after he and Paul come back from gathering their bags.

"Yes. Let's go." Meryl says grabbing Maks' hand after he puts Adalyn on his shoulders. Cheryl pushes the stroller. Paul and Clayton pulls the luggage that didn't fit in the bottom of the stroller.

"Can you believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve Princess?"

"No! It's so crazy. It's such a big Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well."

"It really is but I'm really excited. I've never been this excited for Christmas before" Maks says.

"Me either. Being excited for Christmas because of having children is better than being the kid on Christmas."

"I agree Princess. I kind of love knowing what the presents are and waiting to see how they'll react."

"Adalyn is going to freak! I can't wait to see how our presents react to their presents."

"I bet they'll all cry."

"You're probably right. Oh can it be Christmas already?!"

"Soon Princess. Should we finish wrapping or go to sleep?"
