Chapter 29

The music starts and Tom moves back to Meryl taking Brynlee from her whispering. "She'll be fine. Enjoy your dance." Meryl just nods in response. She is so sucked into Adalyn and Maks dancing. The smiles on both of their faces are mesmerizing. She sees her que to get into place and get ready. Adalyn comes twirling and Meryl twirls towards Maks.

Tom brings Adalyn to his side and she smiles up at him and then goes back to watching her parents dance. They are dancing to Shut up and Dance. Meryl looks so much calmer now. Dancing with Maks always seems to do that. When the dance ends, they struck their ending pose and then he kisses her. They hold hands and make their way over to Tom. Adalyn grabs onto Maks leg and he picks her up. Meryl takes Brynlee from Tom.

"Chmerkovskiy's that was beautiful. How did it feel being back on that dance floor?"

"It was great" Meryl says with a smile.

"I love dancing with my girls out there tonight. I can't wait until I can dance with all three of my girls." He kisses each one's head. Tom turns to Adalyn.

"Adalyn, did you have fun dancing with Papa today?"

"I did. I love to dance."

"I can tell. You are a beautiful dancer."

"Thank you Mr. Tom."

"You're welcome Adalyn. When we come back, we'll see a dance from our first eliminated couple."

The camera turns away from them and after quick hugs, they go off to get changed into their regular clothes for tonight.

Brynlee is already dressed since she didn't dance. She is wearing a short sleeve light blue and white chevron pattern onesie with a tulle skirt attached. She also has a light blue headband with a flower on. It isn't really that fancy but it will make changing easier.

Maks changes Brynlee's diaper while Meryl helps Adalyn get changed. Adalyn's dress is the dress Maks picked out on the day they went school shopping. It is long a sleeved blue and purple flower dress with a tulle skirt and blue ribbon belt.

Meryl's dress is the same light blue as both girl's dresses. It is a strapless sweetheart dress. It is not too tight and not too lose. It flows off her body perfectly. Meryl has already pumped so she won't have to worry about breastfeeding Brynlee during the show. She takes Brynlee from Maks so he can get changed.

Maks is wearing khaki pants with a black belt. The purple shirt that is tucked into the pants matches the purple in Adalyn's dress.

Before going to their seats, they grab Brynlee's bottle and the carrying pack in case they want to put Brynlee in it. During the commercial break they take their seats. They are in the front row by the judges table. They are so excited to see everyone dance again.

"Can you tell me who you think will win tonight now?" Meryl whispers in Maks ear.

"Nope. Not happening."

"Oh come on. Please!"

"My lips are sealed."

"Even for a kiss?"

"I'd love a kiss but I won't tell you."

"Fine" she says and kisses him.

It is the commercial break before Val and Jenna's dance. They are standing by Meryl, Maks, Adalyn, and Brynlee.

"Tetya Jenna, are you excited to dance?"

"I am milaya devushka. I love dancing with your Dyadya Val."

"Val, Jenna, take your place please."
