Chapter 35

Meryl is sitting at home with Brynlee while Maks is picking up Adalyn from school. It is March 17th, the premiere night of the next season of DWTS. They are all going. Sharna, who has given birth to their daughter Hartley Grace Kirkland on February 25th, and Paul will be with them. They are bringing Hartley with them. Robert and Kym will also be there. They have planned to announce the gender of their baby on the show along with Jenna, who is also going. All of a sudden, her phone starts ringing. It is Jenna.

"Hey Jenna!"

"Mer, hi! Are you guys home?"

"Brynlee and I are. Maks and Adalyn will be home soon. He is picking Adalyn up from school and since Brynlee was asleep when it was time to go, I stayed home with her. What's up?"

"Well Val and I are coming over. We have something we ant to tell you guys."

"Did you guys find out what you are having?"

"We did and we want to tell you before we announce it tonight on the show."

"Oh my goodness! I can't wait until you get here. I want to know so badly. I have my guess but I want to know for sure."

"We'll be there in 10 minutes or so."

"Great! Maks and Adalyn will be home any minute."

"I'll see you soon then Mer."

"Yea. See you soon."

Right after she hangs up with Jenna, Maks and Adalyn walk in the door. Adalyn runs over and hugs Meryl.

"Hi milaya devushka. How was school today?"

"Really fun. We are going to the show tonight right?"

"Yes, tonight with Mr. Paul and Mrs. Sharna and Hartley. Mr. Robert, Mrs. Kym and Tetya Jenna will be there with us too. Oh by the way Maks, Tetya Jenna and Dyadya Val are coming over soon. They found out what they are having and want too tell us before they announce it on the show tonight."

"Oh awesome! It's still crazy to me that they are pregnant. The 'little one' and his wife, still getting use to that too, are having a baby."

"I know, it's crazy but it's happening."

"What's happening?" Val says coming in the door holding Jenna's hand with a huge smile on her face. It is almost the smile she had on during their wedding but a little different.

"You two are having a baby. It's still crazy to me" Maks says getting up to hug them.

"So so, sit down. Tell us what you are having. I can't wait much longer." Meryl reaches out and grabs Jenna's hand.

"I want to know what you think first" Jenna says.

"Boy" Maks quickly says.

"No way! Girl" Meryl says. "What about you Adalyn? What do you think Tetya Jenna is having? A boy or a girl?"

"I think..." she says looking at Jenna's belly. "A boy."

"Well we are having a... baby... girl!"

"A girl? I was right? You're having a girl?"

"Yes" Jenna says sweetly looking into her eyes. Meryl wraps Jenna into a hug.

"You're having a little girl Val."

"I am. Maks, were you this happy and in love with someone you've never met? It's a pretty crazy feeling."

"Just wait till you get to hold her. That will be the craziest feeling. I'm so happy for you Val."
