The Beginning

Late surprise: Donnie

Donnie carried you into the dojo and you saw all the beautiful lights everywhere. The tree had a star at the top and presents at the bottom of it.
You smiled and Donnie put you down.

"This is amazing."
He smiled then handed you your gift from him.

"I know. I also got you something.''
He bent down and grabbed a longish box in purple wrapping with gold ribbon.
You looked at it then looked at your boyfriend.
"I'm guessing its a Bo staff."
He looked down at the ground rubbing the back of his neck.

''Good guess."
He smiled then watched you open up the beautifully wrapped box.
It was a golden Bo staff that could come apart.

"I love it but why am I getting one?"
You sat there trying to connect the dots in your head but nothing could come up, all you thought was that he was going to train you, you didn't want to believe that though.

"The other part to this is I'm gonna train you with Bo staff."
Donnie told you and you felt a little hurt.

"Am I really that bad at fighting?"
You looked at him and his eyes went big.

"Where'd that come from, no no no no, that's not what I mean I'm going to make you better then you are now."
You looked at him.

"Donnie I think I can defend myself and plus Leah's not getting trained. Is she?"

"Raph's gonna train her a few things so she knows, as that's what I want to do with you."
You found this hilarious how he kept trying to explain this to you. You were laughing on the inside during the whole conversation.

"So you want to copy your brother? The one with a bad temper? Why?"
Your face turned pink and our started laughing.

"Yes, I mean no, I mean, why are you asking so many questions because you hurt my brain."
You kissed his cheek and smiled,

"I was just messing with you, as I'm excited to train with you."
He smiled and kissed your forehead.

"Good."
You looked at the time on your watch and started to head to your room.

"Sweetie, where are you going?"
You turned around and smiled.

"I'm gonna go to our room as read for a while."
He smiled and nodded.

Once you got into the room and shut the door Donnie pulled out his phone and started to walk to the room texting Raph.

Donnie: I'm gonna do it.

Raph: okay have fun

Donnie: that's all you have to say?

Raph: no offense but I'm not rushing things with my girlfriend

Donnie: okay well see ya man.

Donnie texted while passing Raph's room. Once the purple clad turtle got to his room he walked in and smiled seeing you on the bed reading. He shut the door behind him and walked up to you then grabbed your book out of your hands and gently out it on the nightstand.
He bent down and kissed you then pulled away asking.

"Are you ready?"

Cliffhanger again which I'm sorry about. I will make sure next chapter it's not a cliffhanger.

This is also my part one to the Christmas chapter, hense the name late surprise because Christmas has already past.
