41 ~ best year ever

It was New Year's Eve. Everyone came over. Even Lucas. Maya and Josh came in and hugged me. Smakle and Farkle hugged me too. Lucas kissed my cheek and stood with me, greeting everyone.

Uncle Eric, Grandma, Grandpa, Mr. Tanner, Mr. Fenny, Shawn, and Maya's mom.

They all walked in and greeted everyone.

" Maya!" I yelled.

" over here."

I ran to her.

" help me make the cookies please!!" I yelled.

She nodded her head and we started making the cookie.

~ Josh's p.o.v.~

I was standing in a corner when Riley ask Maya to make cookies. They left me, with Lucas.

" So." I said. " how are you and Riley?"

" We're good. How about you?"

" We're good too."

We nodded our heads at each other. I gotta admit, it was awkward. I mean like I watched him and Riley made out multiple times. And he saw Me and Maya made out multiple times too.

The girls came back with cookies. There was one in Riley's mouth and Maya was holding two in her hands.

~ Riley's p.o.v ~

" can I have some?" Lucas asked.

" But it's in my mouth." I covered my mouth.

" I know."

Only 50% of the cookie was sticking out of my mouth.

He bit the other half of my cookie and ate it.

" mmmmm. That is so good."

" What? You want more?" I asked.

He nodded his head. I pointed my finger at where the batch of cookies were. He shook his head and kissed me. He didn't even get the cookie from my mouth.

" Wohh! Ok guys. Your in public." Josh chuckled.

I pulled away.

" You didn't even get the cookie babe."

" Yeah I did." He smiled, and walked away to the batch of cookies.

I turned to see Maya but those two were making out.

" Woh! Ok guys.Your in public!" I said, covering my eyes.

I heard them chuckling so I uncovered my eyes. They stopped.

" Fine, we'll make out in the bathroom then." Josh held Maya's hand and walked away.

I wanted more cookies so I went over to Lucas and grabbed a cookie from the plate. He looked at me, grabbed four, and took my hand.

" Let's go."

" Where to?"

He guided me to my bedroom and closed the door.

" Lucas, we've done this so many times. " I took a bite out of my cookie.

" but we've never played a game with cookies before." He walked up to me. " it's called find the cookie."

" Umm. I don't know. "

" it won't be dirty."

" deal."

" ok turn around."

I turned around and waited. I heard some shuffling in the background. Man I hope it's not dirty.

" ready!"

I turned around.

" Oh, and you also have to use you mouth to get the cookie." He said.

I lifted an eyebrow.

" K."

I felt around his chest and his back. He smiled at me.

" what? You said it's not dirty."

" I know. Want a hint?"

I nodded my head. He poked a little bit of the cookie out of his mouth and poked it back in.

" really?"

" you have to get it with your mouth."

I shook my head. He lifted an eyebrow and kissed me. He used his tongue to transfer the cookie from his mouth, to my mouth.

" Now it's my turn." He said.

He kissed me again. I gave him the cookie, but bit a little off. He started chewing the cookie down.

" ew."

" what? It's your spit."

I smiled and started to walk away, but he grabbed my hand.

" we still have 3 more."

" Ugh. Lucas. I want to spend time with my family too."

" your lost." He bit another cookie and walked out of my room.

My dad went up to me.

" why were you in your room with Lucas?"

" ummm. It was ok Lucas' fault!" I sprinted away, and to Lucas.

" Lucas! I told you!" I whispered/ yelled.

" Wha-"

" my dad is coming for you..."

Then I ran off to Smakle and Farkle and talked with them. I looked off my shoulder and chuckled. My dad was talking to Lucas.

Fast forwarding.

We were all gathered up at the NYC ball drop.

Lucas kissed me. He pulled away a minute later, worried that my dad might see. Nope. My dad was kissing my mom. It was a gross sighting. So I pulled him closer and kissed him longer. This was the best year ever.
