49 ~ choice

" Life or death." A voice said.

" LIFE!" I yelled.

" Are you sure " it chuckled. " Because you have been trying to die for a long time now."

It showed me flashbacks of all the times that I wanted to die.

Flash back #1

Lucas kissing Missy.

" you thought that he did this to you."

Flashback #2

"Charlie made you hate Lucas, causing him to say that he hates you."

Tears were dripping off my face by now.

" OKAY STOP! " I cried. " Please don't. Please. I don't want to see the past." I whispered.

" I WILL ASK YOU THE QUESTION ONE LAST TIME AND  THEN IT WILL BE PERMINATE!" It boomed.

I was flooding out tears. But then everything was calm.

" Life." I whispered.

Then everything stared to whirl around me. My eyes fluttered opened. There were even more shots stabbing my arm to where it was numb and the breathing tubes were bursting in air through my nose. I was able to breath so much better. There was no blankets and a pillow for my head.

" SHES AWAKE!" Someone screamed.

I got startled. There was Katy, Maya, Mom, Dad, Auggie, Lucas, Farkle, and Farkle's parents.

Everyone gave me a huge group hug. They then released me. Lucas had his arms crossed, causing his biceps to show. He was staring at me like I was the only person in the world.

" We'll give you guys your privacy." Maya smirked.

" NO NO NO-" My dad started.

He was saying it like a baby. NO NO NO! I giggled under my breath.

My mom dragged him out of the room. While everyone followed.

After they left and closed the door, Lucas walked up to me and sat next to me. I then sat up.

" You know that there was a 50% chance of you not making it." He intertwined his fingers with mine.

" More like choice." I pulled my hand away.

He tilted his head.

" Choice?" He raised his eyebrow.

" When your really close to death, you only then realize how amazing life is."

I lifted my head off the pillow and sat up. I sat cross cross apple sauce. ( yeah yeah, it's for preschoolers but....) Lucas stroked my leg. He gave me shivers.

" You were out for 3 days." He looked at me.

I half smiled and looked at the door. There was a window and through that window my dad was trying to get through the door but my mom was holding him back.

" Hey hey." He turned my head to look at him. " Look at me."

I stared into his deep green eyes. His soul was so hurt. I burst out into tears and hugged him. He hugged back.

" I hurt you so many times." I mumbled.

" You didn't know, Riley."

He released me and started to wipe awake my tears. He then kissed me. He slipped his tongue  into my mouth. He got on top of me and held my hands down. Lucas then kissed my neck. He trailed back up to my lips and slithered his tongue into my mouth.

I heard banging on the window, knowing that it's my dad. Lucas pulled away and looked up. Embarrassed, he slowly started to move off me. My mom let my dad go and he marched into the room, grabbed Lucas' hand, and took him outside. Lucas made a hand motion that said bye-bye. I got up and adjusted my breathing tubes. It's going to be a long day.
